🩺 Keep Your Blood Pressure in Check! 🩺

High blood pressure often has no symptoms, but it can lead to serious health problems if left unchecked. Here are some tips to help manage your blood pressure:

🔹 Regular Monitoring: Keep track of your blood pressure readings at home or visit your GP for regular checks. If you are over 40 you can visit your local pharmacy for a free blood pressure check.

🥗 Eat a Balanced Diet: Focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Reduce salt intake to help lower blood pressure.

🏃‍♂️ Stay Active: Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week. Activities like walking, cycling, or swimming can make a big difference.

🧘‍♀️ Manage Stress: Practice relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga to help keep stress levels in check.

🚭 Avoid Smoking and Limit Alcohol: Both can raise blood pressure, so it's important to cut back or quit.

Taking control of your blood pressure is a vital step towards a healthier life. Start today and make your heart health a priority! ❤️

🌿 Embrace Mindfulness 🌿

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, taking a moment to practice mindfulness can make a world of difference. 🧘♀️✨

Mindfulness is all about being present in the moment, fully aware of where you are and what you’re doing. It helps reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance overall well-being. 🌸

Try this simple exercise:
1. Breathe: Take a deep breath in and out.
2. Observe: Notice your surroundings without judgment.
3. Feel: Pay attention to the sensations in your body.
4. Reflect: Acknowledge your thoughts and let them pass.

Incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine and experience the positive changes it brings. 🌟

Ovarian Cancer Awareness is a reminder to know the symptoms and act early.

Symptoms can be vague and may include:

- persistent bloating
- tummy pain
- feeling full quickly
- needing to wee more often
- unexplained changes in appetite

If you notice ongoing symptoms that are unusual for you, it’s important to speak to your GP. When discussing symptoms, let your doctor know about any family history of cancer, not just ovarian cancer and not only in parents or siblings, as this can help assess your overall risk.

Keeping up to date with cervical screening when invited is also an important part of protecting your gynaecological health. Early action can make a real difference. 🎗️💙🩺✨
