Today is grandma Suzannah Cannons birthday, she was born in 1890, the same year my home was built!

She married my grandpa when she was 19… I wonder how they met?

I wonder what they did for fun? I never saw them having fun.

I wonder when the debilitating rheumatoid arthritis showed up in her life?

I wonder about the people who raised her and her baby sister after her mom died giving birth to her sister when she was 2?

She made the best bread and honey sandwiches.

She never complained of pain even though tears dripped down her cheeks often.

Her fingers were twisted sideways and she crocheted continually to keep them moving. She taught me to crochet & embroider… quite the feat since I hardly ever sat still!

If you have loved ones still with you get curious about their lives… write it in family tree! it will be such a treasure to you and your posterity.

I wish I would have asked more questions, listened more, talked less!

The story of doubting Thomas is my story!

He’s talking about me also.I am a Thomas, a doubter, with a lion heart…

Jesus Christ built his church with real humans, the doubters,the possessed, the hated, the impulsive, the rebels!

How blessed I am to get to know Him, the Savior of the whole world; even the ones who don’t believe in him.

I get to really know Him through the 4 gospels of the New Testament and 3rd Nephi; from the Book of Mormon.

I get to hear about Him from those who knew Him.

To get know the character of this man from people who knew him and walked and talked with Him, doubted him, loved him, followed him, betrayed Him and gave up all for Him.

This man/God I have chosen to follow and strive to emulate for my whole life.

The one who I fell short so often. But I still choose to keep on trying because He makes my life happier, He fills my heart with joy with this unbounding love, He who delights in blessing and healing my rebellious hard heart.

Come and see His fruits in your life when you really, really get to know Him.

I have especially the loved series “The Chosen” because it shows His character and how happy it makes Him to bless us.

I have been so blessed, I wish I could share how many times He’s been there for me.

I’m painting miracle rocks for my miracle garden to help me remember!

Patience, Think of it as walking up an escalator versus just standing on one. Even if you’re still waiting to get to the top, you can always be doing something to get there faster. Your expectation that it would be easy & quick is usually wrong. Things take time and effort! 🥰

An idea worth considering today.

I just had my dear brother and a sweet friend pass away this last month. It has made me think about my last journey home.

The only things I get to take with me are the time I have spent learning how to serve others, learning how to love better and showing it with service and the money I have spent for good things.

It's learning how to sacrifice with love!

Express your gratitude, your love and your joy of knowing those in your puddle. We all have puddles of influence.

Time flies! It's our one great last journey we can ALL count on. MAKE TIME COUNT.

We have to be present to do that.

We have to notice our own needs, the needs of others, and the directions our Creator gave to make this journey easier.

Actively designing our life is just being present.

Listening to what our intuition is telling us what to do next.

When was the last time you really listened?

Nature is the best place for me to do it.

You know what the best place for YOU is to listen to your intuition.

Be still! Ask "What should I do now?" Then listen. Write down your impressions.

Take time for yourself! ill become your favorite thing to do.

Take the time to do it now. It's important!
