I’m excited to share that my updated website is now live. It reflects my current offerings, booking options, and how to request mobile sessions.

You can now explore my services, learn how I practice, and see all the ways to work with me in one place.

Where I Offer Sessions

I provide therapeutic massage and bodywork through my affiliated wellness locations:

• Vitality Spa & Wellness — Old Lyme, CT
• Cure Med Spa — Mystic, CT

Appointments at these locations are booked directly through each facility.

Mobile Sessions

A limited number of in-home sessions are available for established clients on select days.

I’ve officially closed my Salem studio and want to take a moment to say thank you.

That space held years of meaningful work, trust, and connection, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who shared it with me.

While the studio chapter has come to a close, my work continues. I’m now seeing clients at Vitality Spa & Wellness, working with Cure Medspa, and offering a small number of out-call sessions.

I look forward to continuing this work—just in a new setting—with the same care and intention.

My final days offering sessions at The Bodywork Studio in Salem are this week:

The Studio will be closing at the end of December 2025.

Today’s massage practice: Table Thai Bodywork and surprise Prenatal massage.

For Prenatal Massage I have two position offerings to lay on the table.

Side laying position with a support pillow under the head and a long body pillow to drape the top leg and arm over. Great to keep the legs neutral while also decompressing the lower back.

Body Support Systems Pillow. This allows the mom to be to lay face down with the belly cushioned, cradled and supported so pressure is dispersed and not an issue. This allows me to access the full back to the upper hips and soothe the aches. I also pay attention to hamstrings and the hip joint to bring circulation and ease stiffness. After massage work for the back side and a collective coordinated effort, the mama can turn over and rest against a wedge pillow. This takes pressure off the diaphragm and allows restful easy breathing without agitation from the abdomen.

So many great massage sessions have happened in this space. I am so grateful to be here and give.

Although I am not selling gift cards this season, I have enabled pre-pay in online booking. It is not required to pre-pay to schedule a session, (there is a by-pass option), but if anyone would like to purchase and book a massage for a loved one, it’s totally possible. Scheduling to an ideal date/time is easy and if you have any questions please reach out.

Today’s surprise practice: Table Thai Bodywork.

Today’s Client is a regular receiver of massage and normally the request is my signature massage which pulls from all western applications like my myofascial technique or Swedish or hot stone therapy.

But after a brief verbal intake and update, I suggested something different. My client had been driving for a long periods of time over the last few days and was feeling very rigid and bound. Thai bodywork is unlike Swedish style massage, and also deep tissue, in ways that the receiver is not merely laying on the table. 

Thai Bodywork looks to take the soft tissue out of the confines of rigidity or stillness. Working along energy lines, starting from the feet, I explore and address blocked energy. This brings suppleness back to the body and believe it or not, tension in the neck can be traced to stagnant energy in the legs.

I work within your range of motion with compression, decompression, stretching and dynamic movement to awaken, open and release.

This is a clothed massage session. Wear loose stretchy attire and brings socks. I prefer an elevated table vs the customary floor mat. You will be cozier. The studio is chilly these days despite the heat going.

If you have aches or pains and regular table massage helps but for a short while, consider Thai bodywork. You might be surprised how much tension is global and how far this modality can reach to relieve it.

Recently, I sat quietly in the studio and reflected while having some tea. I reflected on why did I open my practice.

I didn’t open my practice because I wanted success. I did it because I wanted integrity. I don’t care about status and I don’t care about appearances.

I care about doing right by people. I care about creating a space that reflects my values. I care about practicing in a way that honors my skills. I care about being safe from toxic environments.

I didn’t open my practice because I wanted a business. In fact, I kept the idea of a business at arms length for a very long time.

What I wanted was integrity, autonomy, and ethical, professional honesty. And so, when something no longer fits my truth this is what happens: I outgrow, realign and evolve.

So now what of this space? I’m not going out of business. That’s only for Crazy Eddie. Something isn’t lining up. Is it the space? the business model? the location?

So here I am, realigning and evolving while continuing to keep to my autonomy, integrity and ethical professionalism.

and that’s how the bodywork studio was born.
