The NDIS School Leaver Employment Report is now out.

And it looks like big things are happening for young people transitioning from school to work.🙌🏻

Here’s what the latest report shows:

👍🏻Over 8,500 school leavers received employment supports
✔️Nearly half of all training focused on building real-world work skills
👍🏻614 participants moved into paid employment across industries like retail, hospitality & trades

The biggest takeaway?
The more time spent on skill-building + real work experience, the higher the chance of landing a job.🙌🏻

April is Autism Understanding Month.

A month dedicated to raising the understanding of autism and the barriers autistic people still face.

Over the years, pop culture has shaped how we view neurodiversity and autism. But focusing on awareness doesn’t always translate to understanding.

Did you know many autistic people face daily barriers? In fact, autistic people face an unemployment rate of around 30%!

This World Autism Understanding Month (April 2026), let’s work together to go beyond awareness and commit to real understanding.🙌🏻

Aspect’s campaign “If you learn I’m Autistic, I would like you to…” is an incredible campaign which promotes real conversations from autistic people.
