🌙 My Top 3 Oils for Deep, Restful Sleep
If you’re finding it hard to switch off at night, tossing and turning, or waking up feeling just as tired as when you went to bed — you’re not alone. Sleep affects everything: our mood, energy, hormones, focus, and even how well our body heals.
I can relate when your body is tired but your mind won’t settle. These three oils have become gentle, consistent supports in my own routine — and I hope they help you too 💛
✨ Valerian
This one’s a bit earthy and grounding, but wow — it really speaks to the nervous system. If you’re feeling wired-but-tired or anxious before bed, Valerian helps the body slow down and prepare for rest in a deeper way.
👉 I like to dilute and apply to the soles of my feet, or add a drop to my diffuser with Lavender Peace.
✨ Lavender Peace
This is doTERRA’s restful sleep blend, and it’s a favourite for good reason. With Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Vetiver and more, it feels like a soft blanket for your mind. It’s particularly beautiful if your brain won’t stop looping through your to-do list.
👉 Add 2–3 drops to your diffuser before bed, or apply to your wrists and temples as part of your wind-down routine.
✨ Shinrin Yoku
This grounding and earthy blend is inspired by the Japanese practice of forest bathing - and it really does feel like a peaceful walk through the forest. It’s ideal if you need to feel safe and calm in your body before rest.
👉 Diffuse with Lavender Peace, or roll onto your chest and back of neck to settle deeply.
💧 Tip: Always dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil for topical use.
