**Mamma Kim comin’ at you with some tough love, because I CARE about you.**⁣

And listen… I’m not talking about major life stuff, grief, illness, real trauma, of course you take the time you need. Feel it. Work through it. Therapy? Coaching? Yes. All of that matters. ❤️⁣

But what I see all the time is this: small setbacks become excuses to slip back into old habits, and before you know it, your goals are back in “someday” land.⁣

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Because when 5 o’clock hit and I was hangry and tired, and that's when I tend to short circuit.
I already knew what was going in the air fryer.
I didn’t spiral into “what should I eat?” mode. I didn’t start grabbing random stuff out of the pantry. I didn’t hit that regret-heavy overeating wall.

I felt prepared...and 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭...and that gave me peace...and 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

And the best part?
The more I did it, the easier it got.
Food felt simple. I felt in control. And the guilt (and snacking)? Gone.

If I had a nickel for every time a woman came to me struggling with bloating, exhaustion, hormone drama, and a scale that won’t move and was ALSO doing the same hard‑core workouts, long cardio sessions, or dragging herself to bootcamps every morning… I’d be a very rich girly. 😂

I get it...it’s tempting to think pushing harder = better results...beacuse that was the mindset we learned when we were younger.
But that doesn't mean that was the RIGHT mindset.
And sure, that mindset may have served us well in our 20's, but mother nature is healing us a different deck of cards in our 40's

Now, our bodies are WAY more sensitive to stress than we ever realized.

Work stress high.
Sleep low.
Cortisol spiking.
Calories tight.
Gym on blast.

That combo? It’s a recipe for stalled weight loss, constant fatigue, and zero consistency.

High‑intensity workouts aren’t “bad.”
They’re just stressors.
And sometimes — especially when life is busy, hormones are unpredictable, and calories aren’t fueling you — the last thing your body needs is more stress.

Your body talks to you.
And when it’s constantly giving you signals like:
👎 exhaustion
👎 bloating
👎 stubborn weight
👎 low energy
…it’s telling you it needs RESTORATION more than it needs intensity.

Less stress = more responsiveness.
More recovery = better results.

I hear this all the time:
"I have to be all in or I can't stay on track"
or
"Adding a veggie to my plate won't even do anything...it seems stupid"

UNTIL their mindset changes, then its:
"I'm finally feeling like I can do this!"
and
"I'm a girl who never sticks with anything, but this, I'm sticking with!!"

because when your mindset shifts, everything shifts.

You stop quitting on yourself.
You stop waiting for the “perfect” time.
You start celebrating tiny wins instead of beating yourself up.

And that’s the moment the results start to show up. Not because you did everything right, but because you kept going.

-getting right back at my normal health routine after a bad meal or skipped workout...no spiraling or down time
-having built in back up plans for when s**t goes sideways...that way I can still take SOME action for my health
