If you are a federal employee who has been furloughed, please bring your furlough letter/document with you to today's (November 7, 2025) food distribution and you may receive a voucher with your food bag. Handout begins at 1pm at the Multipurpose Arbor. Thank you.

The food handout is for ANYONE to receive!
It is just the vouchers that are designated for SNAP/EBT BENEFIT members.

Original Post:
THIP will be assisting with today's food distribution at the Multipurpose Arbor starting at 1pm. We will provide food vouchers for curent SNAP/EBT benefit members ONLY.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR VALID ID AND CURRENT SNAP/EBT BENEFIT CARD THAT MATCHES ID NAME AT TIME OF HANDOUT.
VALID ID CONSIST OF (STATE ID, TRIBAL ID, OR DRIVERS LICENSE)

These will be first come, first serve basis. Please make sure you have your cards ready at handout.

Blackfeet THIP provided pumpkins to Babb School/Headstart, and East Glacier School for students and staff today! We were grateful to see happy children ready to enjoy their fall activities 🎃😁

THIP is grateful for all assistance we received for this event and we enjoyed seeing all the happy children. We will visit outlying communities next week to offer pumpkins as well in case you missed out. 😁

THIP is bringing back our annual Community Pumpkin Patch in collaboration with various programs! 🎃

Note: location is subject to change depending on approvals and weather conditions.

We are in search of food truck/drink vendors, or even other tribal programs interested in having informational booths or offer games, that are interested in setting up at our event.

Please contact us if you have questions or are interested so I can add you to the list.

Also, we are working on plans for outlying schools such as heart butte and babb to recieve pumpkins and will release that information when it is finalized.

Blackfeet THIP would like to extend a thank you to Blackfeet Public Health and To***co Prevention for allowing us to participate in their Easter Event today. Also, with the help of General Manager, Jeremy from Missoula Walmart we were able to offer some easter baskets to the event on top of our provided water bottles! Our staff was also able to assist in taking charge of the hunt for Disabilities individuals. 😁

We hope all families enjoyed their time and we were grateful to have been part of this community event. Have a great Easter weekend! 🐣
