I received my B.A in Psychology from Concordia University and went on to complete my B.Sc in Dietetics at McGill University. Following my undergraduate degree, I earned my Masters in Dietetics to refine my skills and excel in research. Armed with my Masters, teamed up with the Peri Operative Program at the Montreal General Hospital, simultaneously starting my private practice at Open Space Clinic. My practice includes children, adolescents, and adults interested in seeking nutritional counseling and management for a myriad of conditions, including diabetes, weight management, IBS, Crohn’s and Colitis, Celiac Disease, just to name a few. My approach is holistic and client-centered; profiling the individual and assessing their requirements, while using my expertise, along with the clients’ goals and needs, to create a personalized nutritional plan. Eating your way to health has never been so simple, easy and fun. J'ai obtenu un baccalauréat en psychologie de l'Université Concordia et j'ai complété mon baccalauréat en diététique à l'Université McGill. Après mon diplôme de premier cycle, j'ai obtenu ma maîtrise en diététique pour perfectionner mes compétences et exceller dans la recherche. Armé de ma maîtrise, j'ai fait équipe avec le programme Opératoire Péri-Opératoire de l'Hôpital Général de Montréal, en commençant simultanément ma pratique privée à la Clinique Open Space. Ma pratique inclut des enfants, des adolescents et des adultes intéressés à rechercher des conseils nutritionnels et de la gestion pour une myriade de conditions, y compris le diabète, la gestion du poids, IBS, la maladie de Crohn et la colite, Celiac pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. Mon approche est holistique et centrée sur le client; profiler l'individu et évaluer ses besoins, tout en utilisant mon expertise, ainsi que les objectifs et les besoins des clients, pour créer un plan nutritionnel personnalisé. Want a delicious, easy cookie recipe that actively nourishes? My homemade oatmeal cookies are made with simple quality ingredients like h**ps and chia seeds, spelt flour and oats, making them a tasty and smart choice 🍪

Here׳s the recipe:
-1 large egg
-1.5 tbsp olive oil
-2 tbsp vanilla extract
-1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
-1 cup rolled oats
-3/4 cup spelt flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-2 tbsp cinnamon
-pinch of pink salt
-1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (75%+ cocoa)

Optional add ins:
-Berries
-Chopped Nuts

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the wet ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg, olive oil, vanilla extract, and maple syrup (or honey) until well combined.
Mix the dry ingredients: Add the oats, spelt flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and pink salt to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the add-ins: Gently fold in the chia seeds, h**p seeds, and dark chocolate chipsusing a spatula.
Scoop the dough: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon (they won’t spread much on their own).
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!

🥣✨ Anti-Inflammatory Red Lentil Soup

This cozy bowl has everything I love — Fiber, plant-based Protein, and tons of Anti-Inflammatory goodness from turmeric, garlic, and ginger. It’s quick, nourishing, and perfect for meal prep (because busy Dietitian-Mom life needs easy wins 🙌)

Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:
3 carrots, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
3–4 garlic cloves, minced
1 k**b of ginger, grated
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp turmeric
Pink salt + pepper to taste
1 cup dry red lentils, rinsed
4 cups chicken or vegetable stock
2 cups water
2 cups spinach, chopped
½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon juice to taste 🍋

Directions:
1️⃣ In a large pot, sauté onion, carrots, celery until onions start to soften. Then add garlic and ginger until fragrant and softened (about 1-2 minutes).
2️⃣ Stir in tomato paste, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, and turmeric. Cook for another minute to bring out the flavors.
3️⃣ Add red lentils, stock, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20–25 minutes until lentils are soft and soup thickens.
4️⃣ Stir in chopped spinach and parsley. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until wilted.
5️⃣ Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice, adjust seasoning, and enjoy warm.

This freezes well and makes the perfect gut-friendly, anti-inflammatory lunch and dinner!

An easy, no bake snack option packed with falls or, texture and health benefits!

Why you’ll love it:
* Dark chocolate (75% cocoa) is rich in antioxidants and can support heart health ❤️
* Nuts provide healthy fats, protein, and fiber to keep you satisfied 💪
* A touch of crunch and natural sweetness — the perfect balance!

Recipe:
-Melt 1 cup dark chocolate (75% or higher)
-Mix in 1 cup roasted mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios, pecans, macadamia, walnuts…)
-Spread on parchment, top with sprinkles or Malden salt ✨
-Chill, break into pieces, and enjoy!
