Designed to live will be temporarily closing beginning Friday, 3/8, while I take some long awaited me time to thru hike the Pacific Coast Trail. The PCT is a 2650 mile trail extending from the border of Mexico to the Border of Canada, and has been a bucket list item for me for over 20 years! I have often said nature has healing, restorative abilities. Nature also can challenge us to grow, to be brave and to explore.
Keep designing a life you love and I look forward to assisting you in the fall of 2024 once I return.

Burien Film Festival - BUFO Edition Burien UFO Festival received 9 submissions! We've decided that we will give these films their own evening dedicated to UFO films.

On August 10th please join us at the Tin Room Bar & Theater where we will present two UFO/UAP/ET film programs:

Program #1: Four on theme short films (15 - 30 min. each) created by local film makers.
Program #2: BFF-BUFO Edition contest submissions and winner announcements!!

Future video update- second in a series of haunted trail investigations.
It was a long drive both to and from this amazingly scenic hike. Just before pulling into the trailhead area we came upon a pretty bad crash scene. EMS had already arrived, traffic was being routed around. I said a silent prayer for those involved. It didn't cross my mind until this writting, perhaps our seemingly coincidental timing was an omen.
On trail I could definitely sense and feel the areas that have both residual and active paranormal activity.
I can not even begin to explain how many equipment tech malfunctions we experienced - the kind typical of out right haunted investigations. Fully charged batteries unexplicably drained. You name it, it happened- ALL on this investigation. 🤔
This may call for another trip to recapture and further investigate but I hope not. As beautiful as it was their was also a heavy anxious feeling underlying the quiet. A feeling that I am not looking forward to connecting with again, anytime soon.
What is abundantly clear is there are spirits. Some wanting their stories to be shared and those chillingly who try to ensure they are silenced. ~

I recently entered my first film festival, a local one here in Burien WA. Last year I was a vendor with free tarot readings, this year a short film producer!

Last year I hosted a tarot vendor booth at BUFO, The Burien UFO Festival! 👽 This year BUFO joined back up with the Burien Film Festival. Me being curious, found out anyone could submit a short film within the guidelines. So, I followed my aspiring YouTube content creator heart and I entered. It's my first time submitting a "film" and it's my first time using this film submission platform. It was a bit overwhelming and I'm so hoping I did it correctly. Which I may not have, in which case this will also be my first rejection from a film festival 😂
If I make it in, then it may be featured at the festival theater in front of a live, local audience and there are even cash prizes for the 3 top films. How cool is that?!

I often go hiking for my channel and much of the time it is alone or with my dog. This is a short trail under a mile, but I had something unexpected happen. When I recently revisited the videos I thought, man here is a lesson that reinforces what any hiker or backpacker should know. I salvaged a bit of the video to do just that and share with others. Now I know many already know this, but even the most experienced of outdoorsmen/women can use a solid reminder. So as we hit the trails during the season of hiking and warmer weather, review if you have these on your person. As always, Happy Trails!
