💖 The Yoga of Love: Connection, Compassion, and Self-Care 💖
Yoga isn’t just about movement - it’s about connection. This Valentine’s Day, let’s expand our idea of love beyond romance and celebrate the many ways yoga teaches us to love:
🫶 Self-Love – Every time you step onto your mat, you practice self-care. Yoga teaches us to listen, honor, and nurture ourselves.
💞 Compassion for Others – Through breath and mindfulness, we cultivate patience and empathy - both on and off the mat.
🌍 Universal Connection – Yoga reminds us we’re all interconnected. Whether in a class or in daily life, we move and breathe together.
This Valentine’s Day, show love in all its forms. Roll out your mat, take a deep breath, and embrace love for yourself, your community, and the world. ❤️

Yoga Tip: Finding Stability
If you are looking for more stability, grounding, or confidence in your yoga poses, I have 4 quick tips for you:
1) Stand near a wall or chair. You don’t even have to hold it, just being near a solid object can help
2) Connect with props. If you feel wobbly in Triangle or like you arms are floating in space in a forward fold – add a brick or a strap to ground, steady, and stabilize
3) In balancing poses, start by fixing your gaze. It’s not magic, but a steady gaze can support a steady pose
4) This one is especially for my flexy friends - imagine an opposing movement within the movement you are doing. As you lunge, also put some effort towards also 'un-lunging', pushing the ground away. Within your backbends, imagine a little forward fold as though you are closing the space between your ribs and hips.
I hope that helps!

Let’s explore what it might look like to map out your dream yoga teaching practice - not just in theory, but in a way that fits your real life, your values, and your current capacity.
This is a guided reflection and journaling-style discussion designed to help you think practically and honestly about how yoga teaching might show up in your life right now, and how it could evolve over time.
✨ In this video, we reflect on questions like:
• Where do you want to teach? (studio, gym, community spaces, online, outdoors)
• What kinds of offerings appeal to you? (group classes, one-to-one sessions, workshops, retreats)
• How much do you realistically want to teach each week?
• Is teaching yoga a full-time path, part-time role, or side hustle for you?
• How do your current life circumstances—work, family, energy, finances—shape what’s possible?
• What boundaries do you want to establish in your teaching life?
• Who do you feel drawn to teaching, and why?
• What values matter most to you in your teaching practice?
• How open are you to change as your life and interests shift?
• What feels exciting—and what feels intimidating—about your current vision?
This video is especially useful for yoga teachers in training, newer teachers, or anyone feeling unsure about what they want their teaching life to look like beyond the mat.
Take your time, be honest, and remember - your teaching practice doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
