💛 Supporting someone through cancer treatment 💛
We often hear people say they want to help a loved one or friend going through oncology treatment—but don’t know what to do or say.
While “Let me know how I can help” is kind, it can unintentionally place the responsibility back onto the person who is already navigating a very full mental and emotional load.
✨ A gentle tip: be specific.
Offering practical, concrete support can make all the difference. This might look like:
• Cooking a meal
• Doing the grocery shop
• Changing bed sheets
• Driving them to treatment
• Or simply sitting with them and being present
Small, thoughtful actions can feel incredibly supportive during a challenging time.
🤍 Sometimes the greatest support is making things just a little easier.
