This is going to be hard to hear but…

Having an appetite is a GOOD thing! We can use it to optimize your metabolism…

The first step toward losing weight is NOT “eat less & exercise more.”

If I was living in a house with mold and couldn’t leave… here’s exactly how I’d protect my body while working on a long-term solution 👇

First — let’s be honest.
You can’t out-supplement a moldy environment… but you can support your detox pathways, reduce exposure, and take smart steps that help your body cope while you figure out next steps.

Here’s what I’d do:

Ventilate, daily.
Windows open. Fans on. Create airflow. Mold thrives in stagnation.

Run a dehumidifier 24/7.
Keep humidity below 50% so mold growth slows dramatically.

Use a high-quality air filter (Air Doctor or Air Dock).
HEPA + carbon filtration helps reduce spores, VOCs, and airborne mycotoxins.

Burn pure beeswax candles.
They naturally ionize the air and help pull contaminants down instead of letting them circulate.

Bring in air-purifying plants:
• Snake Plant
• Peace Lily
• Spider Plant
• Aloe Vera
• English Ivy
• Areca Palm
These aren’t a fix, but they add another layer of support.

Use Himalayan salt lamps.
Salt draws moisture out of the air and reduces microbial load.

🔵 Consult a practitioner about Methylene Blue.
It can support mitochondria and offset oxidative damage — but it is NOT for everyone and must be used intentionally.

Support your lymphatic system.
Your lymph moves toxins out — but only if you move.
Things that help:
• rebounding
• dry brushing
• castor oil packs
• sauna
• legs-up-the-wall
• walking and deep breathing
• gentle vibration plates
When your lymph is sluggish, mold symptoms get significantly worse.

Eat a low-mold diet temporarily.
Some foods naturally contain more mold or mycotoxins, and people exposed to mold often become more sensitive to them. Avoid or limit:
• Peanuts + peanut butter
• Corn
• Wheat
• Alcohol (especially wine + beer)
• Coffee (choose high-quality, mold-tested brands)
• Dried fruits
• Pistachios
• Cashews
• Aged cheeses
• Processed meats
• Mushrooms (for some people)

This reduces additional stress on the system so your body can focus on clearing what it’s already dealing with.

Spend as much time outside your home as possible.
Fresh air + sunlight reduce inflammation and give your system a break.
