There have been countless times I have clients ask for a face massage because they "have TMJ." TMJ is the acronym for the Temporomandibular Joint. We all have this joint. It is where the Temple and Mandible meet to create the joint that helps you open and close your mouth. When you have a dysfunction at your Temporomandibular Joint, you have Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD).
