My Husband’s Sick… So I’m Doubling Down on My Immune Support 🦠✨

Because let’s be real—moms don’t get sick days. But knock on wood since working on my health I haven't been sick - but I do become a crunchy mom when someone is sick.
This week, I’m showing you exactly how I support my immune system when someone in my house is down for the count. (Stay tuned all week for my go-to tools, routines, and remedies!)
🔴 Today’s feature: RED LIGHT THERAPY Yep, I got in front my panel —because red light is one of the first things I reach for to stay well when germs are in the house.

Here’s why RLT supports your immune system:
✅ Boosts Cellular Energy: Red light charges up your mitochondria, giving immune cells the energy they need to fight off invaders effectively.

📉 DOWN 30.6 POUNDS & LEVELING UP CELLULAR HEALTH 🚨
Today's Hume Health check-in shows:
✅ Weight down 1.7 lbs — hitting 30.6 lbs lost since May
✅ Body fat percentage: now 21.2% — just 1.2% away from goal
✅ Lean mass: holding strong at 118 lbs in the high range
✅ Cell hydration: body water % is UP — those cells are thriving
✅ Metabolic age: trending 10 YEARS YOUNGER than actual age
✅ Hume Health Score: up 185+ points in 6 months

🧠 This is more than weight loss.
This is:
Fat loss (not muscle loss 🙅‍♀️)
Circadian-aligned consistency
Eating for function not fear
Metabolic youth revival

And here’s what I didn’t do:
🚫 Overtrain at 5am and fry my cortisol
🚫 Starve myself to hit numbers
🚫 Live on powders, pills, or calorie-counting apps
🚫 Panic over the scale each day

This is what real progress looks like👇
If you missed the weigh-in post — go check it out — but THIS is your reminder why we track more than just the scale.

Because the scale? It might not move every week. But measurements? They don’t lie.

🧵 Total Inches Lost This Month(Oct 12th-Nov 13th): 7.0 inches
Here’s the full breakdown:
Neck: -0.2
Arms: -0.4 (each) = -0.8 total
Chest: -1.3
Upper Waist: -1.4
Lower Waist: -1.6
Hips: -0.9
Thighs: -0.1 (combined)
Calves: -0.2 (combined)
Ankles: -0.5 (combined)

💥 Most of the changes came from the midsection and thighs — a telltale sign of releasing visceral fat and hormonal bloat from years of diet dogma, cortisol chaos, and carb fear.

💡 So what didn’t I do?
🚫 I didn’t restrict entire food groups
🚫 I didn’t chase perfection
🚫 I didn’t wake up for 5am cortisol-spiking workouts
🚫 I didn’t rely on powders, pills, potions, or promises in a bottle

✅ What did I do?
✔️ Loosely track my personalized macros (Hello Quantum Blueprint) not some influencer's template
✔️ Support leptin signaling and sleep quality (thank you Oura Ring)
✔️ Stay consistent even when life wasn’t perfect
✔️ Practice seasonal, circadian-aligned nutrition
✔️ Listen to my biofeedback over trendy band-aid protocols

🧠 Let’s be real:
✨ Your body is a biological system, not a spreadsheet.
✨ Your progress is more than the scale.
✨ Your results don’t have to come with side effects.
✨ And YES — you can see transformation without drinking the overpriced cortisol wrecking pre-workout or following cult-like food fear trends.

🛑 Stop:
Obsessing over weight as your only metric
Letting diet culture dictate your worth
Believing change only happens if you're “perfect”

✅ Start:
Tracking real progress — like energy, sleep, mood, muscle retention, and yes… tape measure wins
Trusting the body when it's supported with rhythm, not restriction
Owning your journey unapologetically

🔁 This Week’s Check-In: Real Life. Real Wins.
Some might be discouraged with a “no change” weigh-in. But me? I see a WIN—because this is what sustainable progress actually looks like.

📅 This week included:
🎂 Two kid birthdays
👩‍👧 A girls’ day with my mom
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Friends visiting = a few later meals
🍰 Yes, I chose to enjoy. No, I didn’t “start over Monday.”

I didn’t make perfect choices—but I made aligned ones that fit the LIFE I’m creating. Because this is a lifestyle, not a diet sprint.

📊 Now let’s look at the metrics that actually matter…
📉 Weight: Same
💪 Body Fat %: 21.6% (⬇️ 0.1%) — just 1.6% from my Phase 1 goal!
🧬 Lean Mass: Holding steady at 118.5 lbs (still high side of the standard range)
🔥 BMR: High range — metabolism still moving
🎂 Metabolic Age: A full decade younger than my actual age (thanks, body!)
💧 Body Water %: 51.9% — Hello, hydration!

➡️ Anyone using the HUME app knows seeing all those green standard zones is a major milestone—especially after what happen to me post long-term keto or zero-carb elimination😒😬.

✨ Final thought:
If you’re chasing perfection, you’ll miss progress. If you’re afraid of your life happening, you’ll always be restarting. I’m not here to restrict—I’m here to rebuild.

Today’s Reminder: You Can’t Heal What You Won’t Let Rest 😴💤
Still trying to fix your hormones, lose weight, balance your blood sugar, or get your energy back… While living on 4–6 hours of broken sleep? Yeah, your body’s not buying it either.

Here’s the truth: Sleep & Recovery isn’t optional—it's hormonal therapy.

✨ While you sleep, your body is:

🔥 Real results don’t require restriction—they require alignment.

This week’s check-in:
📉 Down another 1.8 lbs
📊 Total weight loss: 28.9 lbs since May
⚖️ Body Fat %: 21.7% (1.7% from Phase 1 goal)
💪 Lean mass: Still holding strong in the high-standard zone

Nope, it wasn’t from:
❌ Cutting out entire food groups
❌ 5AM cortisol-wrecking workouts
❌ Slamming powders, potions, or fat-burning pills
❌ No crazy fasting regimen

Because here’s the truth bomb 💣
When you stop drinking the powders—so do the “results.”
When you overtrain at dawn, your adrenals wave the white flag.
When you restrict everything… your body resists everything.

This isn’t about perfection. This is about practicing a lifestyle. I’m not micro managing like a rigid robot or slapping temporary band-aids on from some MLM—I’m using a personalized plan that works for my biology.

I’m not living in the gym—I’m sleeping and recovering like it’s my job (hello, Oura Ring insights 👋).

I’m not treating food like the enemy—I’m using it as fuel to heal and thrive.
