😠 I felt like crap… tired, fat & angry. I wasn’t the picture of health I was telling myself. Somehow I had let myself go & was too busy to even notice.

😬 My wife was into me about what I was eating & how I was treating everyone. Somehow I had turned into a grumpy, middle aged, selfish prick that was too busy – for anyone or anything.

πŸ€” In my mind, I was doing it all for my family. Working hard. Why were they complaining?

πŸ” I was so busy working I didn’t have time to eat properly. Grabbing food on the run or not eating at all. I made up for it at night with chips, biscuits, chocolate & a few rums.

πŸ’ͺ I probably looked OK to most people – but I was hiding my spare tire and moobs under my baggy shirts. I also snored like a chainsaw, farted like a champion & the smell from the toilet could have peeled the paint off the wall.

πŸ—£ There was some truth to what my wife was saying – I had no energy and my memory was not as good as it used to be. Chocolate interested me more than the Mrs did. Everyone annoyed the p**s out me – was the world full of morons??

πŸ’‰ I went to the doctor & got some blood drawn. He said my cholesterol was high, I had bad asthma & high blood pressure to top it off. He said exercise more, eat less. Genius huh?

πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ So I did. I started jogging and went to Bootcamp. I did lose weight but I was still tired, grumpy, stiff and sore all the time. I flogged myself senseless, no pain, no gain, right?? And I was starving! I was cutting short my sleep to exercise and to top off I hurt my knee. 4 weeks later I had put back on the weight I had lost. WTF?

πŸ’» This was not working - I knew things had to change.So I began to study. I took charge of my own health and took a deep dive into all of the symptoms I was feeling.

And I found the answers!
