Style of Yoga taught…

We teach a hatha style yoga, linking asanas with breath and mindful awareness. With particular attention to safety, we offer all-levels class by offering modifications and variations throughout the class. Our teachers were influenced by Kripalu and Sivananda although elements of various teachers and teachings have been incorporated into our classes. Pranayama is incorporated in a typical 75-90 minute class, as are postures which are linked in a “flow-like” style. Meditation is often included and shavasana (10-15 minutes) always at the end of each class. As with all yoga, the best way to know is to come experience some of our classes.
