Naloxone (Narcan) can save a life. 💙
In an opioid overdose, every second matters and YOU can help.
How to use Narcan:
1️⃣ Check for signs of overdose
Not waking up
Slow or no breathing
Blue lips or fingertips
2️⃣ Call 911 immediately
3️⃣ Give Narcan
Lay the person on their back
Insert the nozzle into one nostril
Press firmly to release the dose
4️⃣ Rescue breathing
Give 1 breath every 5 seconds
5️⃣ Repeat if needed
If no response in 2–3 minutes, give another dose
💬 Stay with them until help arrives.
➡️ Narcan is safe, easy to use, and can reverse an overdose.
➡️ If it’s not an overdose, it won’t cause harm.
FREE Narcan available at the Stone County Health Department — no judgment, just help.
