Beste volgers,

Als Meds2go team willen we even een moment nemen om jullie een heel fijne Kerst te wensen!

Terugkijkend op het afgelopen jaar zijn we dankbaar voor de kans om te werken aan een project dat het leven van mensen over de hele wereld kan verbeteren. We worden constant geïnspireerd door jullie steun.

In 2023 gaan we door met het ontwikkelen van innovatieve koeloplossingen die het makkelijker maken voor mensen om hun gekoelde medicijnen te beheren en zo de controle terug te krijgen over hun gezondheid.

We hopen dat jullie tijdens de kerst ontspannen en genieten van het gezelschap van je dierbaren. En we hopen dat je ons zult vergezellen in onze missie om mensen te helpen om hun medicijnen koel te houden.

Wij zijn Felina en Nicky en we zijn de nieuwe stagiairs van Meds2go.

Namens Meds2go doen we onderzoek naar hoe temperatuurgevoelige medicijnen thuis worden bewaard en gebruikt.

Met de uitkomsten brengen we de eisen aan een koeloplossing voor thuis in kaart en kunnen we bepalen of dit eventueel een interessant product is voor in de toekomst.

Wil je ons daarbij helpen? Wij zijn op zoek naar mensen die temperatuurgevoelige medicijnen gebruiken voor een interview van +/- 30 minuten. Het gesprek gaat over hoe jullie je temperatuurgevoelige medicijnen geleverd krijgen, bewaren en gebruiken.

Het interview kan zowel online als offline plaatsvinden en de uitkomsten worden uiteraard vertrouwelijk behandeld.

Stel, je wilt voor de farmaceutische cold chain doen wat Tesla heeft gedaan voor de auto-
industrie. Waar loop je dan allemaal tegenaan en hoe ga je daarmee om?

Meds2go heeft 3 innovatieve koelers ontwikkeld voor in de farmaceutische cold
chain. De koelers helpen de partijen in de cold chain om bij patienten achter de
voordeur voor de juiste koeling te zorgen. Maar de ontwikkeling van de koelers bleek
een complexe puzzel. Het resultaat is een set koelers op de limiet van wat mogelijk
is qua product design en maakbaarheid.

Hoe zorg je ervoor dat je briljante idee voor een medicijn koeler een product wordt waarmee je gezien wilt worden, in plaats van een stigmatiserend hulpmiddel? Voor een antwoord op die vraag kwam Meds2go bij onze partner Spark design & innovation terecht.

Spark staat voor 25 jaar ervaring met innovatie en zet die kennis en kunde in om sympathieke, fotogenieke en relevante producten te ontwerpen. Eerder verzorgde Spark al eerder het design van het eerste prototype van de Cool-One. Dat ontwerp leverde in 2019 een award voor “Goed Industrieel Ontwerp” op. En inmiddels zijn ze voor Meds2go bezig met twee nieuwe producten: de C2 en C3.

Spark heeft een lange achtergrond in het ontwerpen van medische hulpmiddelen. Dat maakte het makkelijk om ze te vragen om Meds2go te helpen.

Samenwerken met Med2go levert Spark de mogelijkheid om al haar design ervaring in te zetten om innovatieve koeltechniek te vertalen naar oplossingen waarmee mensen langer thuis kunnen wonen en zoveel mogelijk van het leven kunnen genieten.

In de komende tijd gaan we jullie meer vertellen over de rol van Spark bij het ontwerp van onze nieuwe producten: de C2 en C3.

Are you always the first to spot business opportunities? Is translating opportunities into action sales plans
your specialty? And do you want to use - and improve - these skills to help bring an innovative health product to the market as part of an internship? Then Meds2go is looking for you.

Because we’re looking for a business developer that can help develop the current - and future - plans to bring our cooling solutions to the Dutch and international markets.

The duration of the internship is 5 - 6 months. Based on the results of the internship, this could be extended into a job at Meds2go.

What you'll do
• Conduct market research and present the team with insights and recommendations;
• Maintain and expand our customer portfolio (B2B);
• Conduct interviews with healthcare stakeholders;
• Demonstrate & pitch the Meds2go cooling solutions;
• Develop concrete sales plans for the intended market(s);
• Spotting market trends and translating them into new propositions;
• Developing pricing models for our cooling solutions
• Manage and develop partnerships

What you're good at
• Analytic thinking ability;
• Excellent communication & influencing skills;
• High attention to detail;
• Excellent command of Dutch and English;
• College or university Msc student – towards Commercial economics, Business Economics, Marketing
& Sales or similar;
• Experience and/or interest in the Life science & Healthcare sector is a plus.
• Preferably available from July/August; September would be OK too.

Are you an independent (online-) Marketing expert with a proactive attitude who is eager to learn? Then
we are looking for you! Meds²go is looking for an (online-) marketing intern who will help us accelerate our online business development activities in the Netherlands and across Europe. The duration of the internship is 5 - 6 months. Based on the results of the internship, this could be extended into a job at Meds²go.

Tasks
• Evaluate data and key metrics to monitor and improve our (online) marketing strategy and communicate results;
• Assist with the creation of marketing materials;
• Assist with SEO and CRO activities on our website (www.meds2go.nl);
• Conduct Social Media and Google advertising campaigns;
• Optimize our bilingual website with a focus on Blogs and B2B content;
• Create content aimed at promoting Meds²Go´s solutions (Whitepapers, Newsletters, Articles, Press Releases)

Requirements
• Excellent analytical skills;
• College or University student – 3rd or 4th-year Commercial economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or similar;
• Strong familiarity with developing and running Facebook and Google advertising campaigns
• An entrepreneurial mindset;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch;

• Driver's license is a plus;

Welke partner kan Meds2Go helpen om de Cool-One tot leven te wekken? Die vraag had Meds2Go toen ze de eerste versie van de Cool-One af hadden en genoeg bestellingen in de eerste pre-sale hadden gekregen. Die partner heet DEMCON.

Daarom willen we Demcon aan jullie voorstellen en vertellen waarom Demcon en Meds2Go voor elkaar hebben gekozen.

Demcon ontwikkelt en produceert innovatieve, technisch geavanceerde en goed doordachte producten van hoge kwaliteit die gebruikt worden in, onder andere, de medische technologie. Demcon is onder meer bekend, omdat ze in maart 2020 (helemaal aan het begin van de Corona pandemie) in 4 weken tijd een beademingsapparaat ontwikkelden dat is gebruikt om Corona patiënten te beademen.

Meds2Go heeft voor Demcon gekozen, omdat ze de productie van onze koeloplossingen echt als een partnership benaderen. Daarbij hebben ze een gestructureerde manier van werken die ons helpt om de Cool-One verder naar productie te brengen. Zodat wij de Cool-One bij jullie thuis af kunnen leveren. Tot slot is Demcon een betrouwbare partij met een goede reputatie. En dat is altijd fijn samenwerken.

Andersom is Meds2Go voor Demcon een goede partner, omdat onze samenwerking Demcon toegang geeft tot unieke, innovatieve koeloplossingen. Daarbij vertaalt Meds2Go de techniek erachter in de impact op het leven van mensen die gekoelde medicijnen gebruiken. Die impact motiveert het team bij Demcon om het beste uit zichzelf te halen.

In de komende weken gaan we jullie vertellen tegen welke uitdagingen we bij de productie van Cool-One (en onze andere koeloplossingen) aanlopen en uitleggen hoe we daarmee omgaan. Spoiler alert: je medicijnen goed gekoeld houden is complexer dan je zou denken.

Vandaag is de Internationale Dag van de Verpleging en de verjaardag van Florence Nightingale.

Als er een groep mensen in het afgelopen jaar in de spotlight is komen te staan, dan zijn het verplegers. Door bijzondere tijd waarin we leven zijn we ons eens te meer bewust van de bijdrage die ze leveren aan onze gezondheidszorg.

Want ze zijn je steun en toeverlaat als je op een verpleegafdeling of de IC ligt, nemen tests af, zetten vaccinaties, alles om ons weer beter te maken. Niet alleen voor het virus wat ons nu bezighoudt, maar ook in de reguliere zorg.

Daarom bedanken we alle verplegers en verpleegsters voor hun steun en toewijding.
