Come join me to nourish your soul in this sweet class, Sunday afternoon at The Yoga Garden 🤍

Nourish: New Year Yoga Practice + Crystal Bowls
Sunday January 14th 12:30-2pm

I will will lead you through a mindfully crafted workshop, curated to give you space to ground and nourish yourself as you ease into the new year. We’ll start this class with a guided mindfulness meditation and breath work. After mindfully rooting ourself into our practice, we will move through gentle yoga flow to prepare the mind, body and spirit for a deep relaxation held by the soothing sounds of crystal bowls.

This class is suitable for all levels, no previous experience required.

Cost $25 with Pre-Registration. Sign up through The Yoga Garden’s mind-body, or on their website under “workshops”.

This will be a donation based yoga class (pay what you can), suitable for all levels of experience. We will meet on the sand at the 5th Avenue boardwalk in Indialantic.

Bring a towel, flat sheet or blanket to practice on & water to stay hydrated. 🧘🏽‍♀️

It feels like a lifetime since I stepped foot into this space. A strange concept considering how this space held me in so much love for so long. It was one of my sacred spaces. A sacred place that felt like home, or better yet a place that held me as I came home to myself.

A lifetime, maybe many lifetimes have been lived since this photo was taken. The girl in that photo was enjoying a morning with some of her favorite people, she had big hopes and dreams and like many of you - life was about to take her on ride she never could’ve expected.

Pandemics, pregnancy, a very sleep deprived yet love filled motherhood, and multiple moves later - life is indeed, very different. Honestly, if you would’ve given me a snapshot when this photo was taken of where life would take me and how I got here, I’m not sure I would’ve believed I could’ve survived it. And yet here I am, breathing and grounded in the distinct knowingness that all of the journeys in between this photo and now are so divinely purposeful. It’s not perfect, it’s often chaotic but there is so much beauty.

While many moons, many joys and many trials have come and gone, the one thing that has guided me through it all is my mindfulness practice. The power of being present, without judgment and with compassion brings me home no matter where I am.

I can’t put into words how nice it feels to know I’ll be back home in this beautiful space again this weekend guiding a yoga class with the philosophy that helps me do this thing called life with so much more peace. Mindfully moving, intentionally breathing allows us to find home within ourselves amidst the chaos that life so often throws our way. And that’s what this class will be.

A home coming for coming home, it’s just what my soul needs.

34, here we go. 🌟🙃

It’s been a low key, simple birthday full of so much love with my sweet little family. Thank you friends and family for sending the love my way today. It’s not easy being away from our loved ones, especially on days like today where generally all I ever ask for is to be surrounded by friends and family. Although I couldn’t be surrounded by more loved ones to celebrate today with hugs, a loving meal and lots of laughs I feel your love in my heart and appreciate the loving words and shared memories/photos sent my way today - it means the world to me. 🤍

Hi Friends! 🌞

I am happy to share I'll be starting virtual Prenatal Yoga classes this Wednesday evening!

These classes will be gentle yoga classes created with a foundation in mindfulness to assist soon to be mama's in feeling connected, grounded and empowered along the journey through pregnancy, birth and beyond. There will also be an option for community connection after each class where we will hold space for conscious conversation for anyone who is like me and feeling the need for support and connection through this wild journey of being pregnant in a pandemic.

If you're interested in joining, let me know and I'll send you over all the information.
OR if you know someone who is interested in a virtual prenatal community, tag or connect us to invite them in.

No yoga experience is required and all classes are still on the sliding scale/pay what you can basis.

I can't wait to see you all soon.

Put yourself first.

Seriously, unapologetically, lovingly, above all else: breathe deeply and put yourself first.

Over the past few years I realized that I have this tendency to move through life with everyone’s needs just as high, if not higher on my priority list as my own. Realizing that, I’ve been making it a point to readjust and break this habit. At first it showed up in little ways, like allowing myself to say no to things with the reassurance that I have no need to feel guilty if I can’t do it all. (Especially when “it all” is for the needs of others - no matter how much I love the people in my life, the energy of neglecting my own needs isn’t good for anyone, especially me). Over the past couple months that’s shown up with big life adjustments like me unplugging more, and temporarily stepping away from most of my teaching to focus on learning and making significant time for my own soul nourishment and physical wellness.

Here are a few notes that I made in regards to what I have learned when putting myself first that have really settled in for me lately:
1. Of course I know you can’t pour from an empty cup but in fact, I’ve learned you can’t pour WELL from a full cup. Your energy is best shared when your cup is overflowing. Otherwise the space to feel drained or depleted seeps into your existence very easily.
2. Being compassionate and reassuring yourself when you are taking care of yourself goes a long way (i.e. remembering to breathe and to remind yourself you have nothing to feel guilty about when you adjust your schedule to take care of a personal need - NO MATTER WHAT).
3. You are a better person for listening to your intuition (even when it’s telling you to say no or not show up when you are asked to).
4. The people who love you will be supportive. It may take some adjusting while they learn your new boundaries but they’ll love you more when they feel the positive effects of you taking care of yourself (you may even inspire them to do the same, that energy is palpable).
5. Self care is not selfish.
6. Taking care of yourself is the best gift you can give yourself (and others).
