They make way more money selling supplements because it's not regulated and people are so convinced they are sticking it to big pharma when they stop taking their medication and replace it with 800 supplements.

One of the simplest tools I teach my clients has nothing to do with food…
nothing to do with supplements…
nothing to do with exercise…

And yet it might be one of the most powerful things for your hormones and metabolism.

It’s called the 5–5–5–5–5 rule.

Because here’s what I see every day in midlife:

It’s not just what we eat that keeps us stuck…it’s how often we live in fight-or-flight mode.

A stressful email.
A comment from someone.
The number on the scale.
A busy day.
A family situation.

And suddenly our nervous system reacts like we’re being chased by a bear.

Cortisol spikes.
Blood sugar rises.
Digestion slows.
Fat storage increases.
Sleep gets disrupted.

All from something that… realistically… might not matter tomorrow.

So here’s the pause I teach:

Before reacting, ask yourself:

👉 Will this matter in 5 seconds?
👉 5 minutes?
👉 5 hours?
👉 5 days?
👉 5 years?

Most of the time, the answer is… no.

And that tiny moment of perspective changes everything.

Because when you zoom out, you stop reacting…and start responding.

There’s something I hear all the time from women before they start our program:

👉 “I’m scared to lose weight… because I’m afraid I’ll just gain it back.”

And honestly?
That fear makes so much sense.

Because most programs teach you how to diet…not how to live.

This comment stopped me in my tracks today:

Dawn shared that she went into maintenance expecting the scale to creep back up…but instead?

✨ She’s down 67 lbs total
✨ And for the first time, she feels secure she won’t gain it back

Optimizing stomach acid for proper digestion is key to good gut health.

Most people don't make enough stomach acid to thoroughly digest their proteins, extract minerals, and kill pathogens.

Stomach acid sets the stage for the rest of the digestive process.

When proteins are not digested...

We feel hungry
We feel tired after eating
We feel bloated
We feel gassy
We develop food sensitivities
We stress the immune system and microbiome
We develop parasite and pathogen overgrowth
We may experience heartburn
We are more prone to H. Pylori overgrowth

Undigested proteins are the most toxic macro.

Here are a few ways to increase stomach acid concentrations
1. Chew your food
2. Eat in a calm state
3. Only eat if you are salivating first
4. Avoid fluids with your meals
5. Take your time and be present
6. Take a good B-complex and zinc

For some people their stomach acid is so low that they need to supplement with Betaine Hydrochloride.

To know how to test yourself, I created a simple graphic.

Once you optimize stomach acid levels, you get way more nutrition out of your food and way less stress on your digestive system.

It's a supplement that pays for itself because you will naturally eat less.
It can be a total game changer for one's health.
