My name is Peta and I’m an Endorsed Midwife with a passion for bereavement care located in the Gippsland area. I have been working as a Registered Midwife for the past 4 years and have developed a special interest in looking after bereaved families and their beautiful babies. I have built experience looking after families in local hospitals, along with completing extra study in the area of bereavement midwifery.
Families who have experienced a loss at any gestation of a pregnancy or for any reason such as miscarriage, termination for medical reasons (TFMR), still birth or neonatal death often feel unsure of their options or next steps. The grief experienced following the loss of a baby can be confusing, isolating and overwhelming. Through Forget Me Not Midwifery, support and guidance can be offered through a continuity of care model with the same midwife.
Due to the personal nature of baby loss each story and set of circumstances requires individual consideration. I can work with you and your family to navigate this difficult time and to honour your baby.

🌿 February 2026 Ritual 🌿

Meant for Integration, Self-Love & Gentle Expansion

Best timing: New Moon or any quiet evening when the house finally exhales
Duration: 10–20 minutes (nap-friendly, Mumma-realistic ✨)

What you’ll need:

A candle (pink, white, or soft red if you have it)

A cup of cacao, tea, or warm water

One crystal (rose quartz, moonstone, or whatever calls)

Journal or a piece of paper

The Ritual:

1. Arrive in your body
Sit comfortably. One hand on your heart, one on your womb.
Take 3 slow breaths.
With each exhale, imagine the month ahead softening around you.

2. Light your candle
As you do, say quietly or aloud:
“I welcome February with openness, grace, and trust.”

3. Reflect and release
Journal or simply reflect on:

What is still settling from January?

Where am I being asked to slow, soften, or receive more?

What no longer needs my energy this month?

You can tear the paper afterward or fold it and place it under your crystal.

4. Call in February’s energy:
Place both hands on your womb or lower belly and say:
“I allow what is meant for me to arrive with ease.
I trust the timing of my life.”

Sip your drink slowly, letting it anchor the intention into your body.

5. Close gently:
Blow out the candle with gratitude, not rushing, not forcing.

✨ Welcome to 2026 ✨

The year of growth, happiness, personal development, breakthroughs, dreams, family, health, wealth and wellness.

Just a quick re-intro 🥰✨🫶🌿
I’m Jen, Mumma of two beautiful boys, a busy 2-year-old and a snuggly 12-week-old. Which means I’m currently on maternity leave… and loving it (most days 😅).

Being a Mum of two is hard work, but it’s also soul-warming, magickal, and deeply humbling. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful.

During this season of maternity leave, I’ll be gently prepping and planning new programs and sharing more information close to my heart. My area of specialty is preconception, pregnancy and postpartum care, through herbal support, holistic healing, nutrition and more.

Becoming a Mum showed me something so important, even when we have support, it’s not always the right kind of support. That deep nourishment women truly need. The kind that helps us feel valued, heard and held 🥰

After my first pregnancy and birth, I experienced a uterine prolapse. It was a lot to process and move through. With the support of an incredible pelvic floor & pregnancy physio, my healing journey began. Fast forward to today and my prolapse has resolved, and while I still have a weak pelvic floor, I continue daily exercises to strengthen and support my body.

I also cannot wait to slowly return to my holistic healings, both in person and distantly, as well as past life regressions. This will be my gentle way of easing back into work mode, in alignment, not rush 🌿✨

Postpartum Replenish Smoothie:

Supports: healing, energy, milk supply & nervous system!

Serves: 1–2

Ingredients:
1 cup oat milk or almond milk (hydrating, galactagogue friendly)
½ cup frozen blueberries or cherries (antioxidants for healing)
½ banana (energy, potassium)
1 tbsp ground flaxseed (hormone balance, bowel support)
1 tbsp chia seeds (omega-3s, hydration)
1 tbsp almond butter or tahini (calcium, healthy fats)
1 scoop collagen powder (tissue repair, postpartum recovery)
½ tsp cinnamon (blood sugar balance, warming)

Optional: 1 tsp maca powder (only if breastfeeding is well established)
Optional: a few soaked dates (iron + natural sweetness)

Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Sip slowly, ideally warm or room temperature in early postpartum.

Life lately has been full, in the most beautifully chaotic way ✨️

Learning the rhythm of motherhood with two little souls has been humbling, messy, and deeply heart-opening.

Postpartum asks a lot of us, but when we’re held and supported, the journey feels lighter.

So much gratitude for my Mumma friends, your wisdom, laughter, and support mean more than you know.

🌿Labour Support Smoothie 🌿

When your body is working its magic, nourishment and hydration are everything.

This Labour Support Smoothie is designed to sustain your energy, keep your blood sugar stable, and replenish your body with electrolytes and minerals, so you can stay grounded, calm and strong through each wave!

Ingredients:

1 banana: gentle on the stomach, provides steady energy
1 Medjool date, pitted: energy and potassium
½ cup berries (fresh or frozen): antioxidants and natural sweetness
1 cup coconut water: hydration and electrolytes
¼ avocado: healthy fats for endurance
1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup: quick energy boost
1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds: fibre and omega-3s
Pinch of sea salt: replenishes minerals lost through sweating
Handful of ice (optional): cooling and refreshing

Optional Add-Ins:

1 tbsp nut butter (almond or cashew) for extra protein
1 scoop collagen for strength and tissue support
1 scoop of Juice Plus, vanilla complete powder
7 drops of Women's Essence

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness if needed.

Sip slowly during early labour or between contractions as tolerated ✨🫶
