šŸŒ’āœØ Embrace the Eclipse Season on Lunar New Year āœØšŸŒž

As we step into this remarkable eclipse season, we find ourselves at the beautiful intersection of cosmic energies and cultural significance. This year, the lunar new year coincides with the powerful energy of the eclipses, offering a unique opportunity for transformation and intention-setting.

Why This Eclipse Season Matters

1. Eclipses as Catalysts: Eclipses are known for their transformative energy, illuminating what needs to be released and inviting new beginnings. This season encourages us to reflect on our past and set intentions for our future.

2. Lunar New Year Vibes: The lunar new year symbolizes renewal, rebirth, and fresh starts. As we celebrate this significant cultural event, align your goals with the energies of the eclipse to maximize your growth potential.

3. Year of the Fire Horse: This year is especially vibrant as we welcome the Year of the Fire Horse. The Fire Horse embodies passion, creativity, and an adventurous spirit. It encourages us to embrace change and take bold steps forward in our lives. This is a time to harness that fiery energy and propel your intentions into reality.

How to Honor This Time

- Rituals: Create a personal ritual that resonates with you. Light candles, set your intentions, and embrace the power of the eclipse.
- Community: Join us at Mai Kai Kava Tea Living Room partnered with Wild Roots Holistic for group meditation gatherings, flo sessions and to connect with others on this journey of transformation.
- Mindfulness: Remain present during this potent time. Observe your thoughts and feelings as the eclipses unfold.

As the moon dances with the sun, may we all find clarity, inspiration, and new paths ahead. Let’s harness this powerful energy together!

ā€œRabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit!ā€
A blessed first of February to You!
Blessed Brigid’s Day/Imbolc in the Northern Hemisphere! šŸ¤šŸ”„
Blessed LĆŗnasa/Lammas in the Southern Hemisphere! šŸŒ¾šŸ’›

Saying ā€œRabbit rabbit rabbitā€ aloud upon waking on the first day of a new month is an old charm to ensure good fortune throughout the month.
āœØšŸ‡šŸ‡šŸ‡āœØ

ā€œAdditionally, the Rabbit and Hare have also long been associated with the Goddess and were the totem of several: the hare to Artemis and Hecate, the sacred rabbit to Aphrodite, to Holda who was accompanied by several torch-bearing hares, to Cerridwen and Freyja who both had hare attendants, and, of course, to Eostre who was said to have taken the shape of a hare at each full moon and whose Anglo-Saxon counterpart, Ostara, was often depicted with a white hare by her side.

There are many more goddesses associated with or attended to by both rabbits and hares and, in such, these gentle creatures can assist us in becoming more attuned to the lunar cycle. All rabbits in general are associated with the Moon, magick, luck, love, creativity, success, sensitivity, agility, spontaneity, abundance, rebirth and, of course, fertility.ā€

🐰NOTE: In addition to the article above, throughout Mesoamerica, the rabbit also attends the goddesses Coyolxauhqui and Ixchel, and in Chinese mythology, the Moon goddess Chang’e has a rabbit companion who mixes an elixir of life in a mortar and pestle.

"Like anybody, I would like to live a long life…. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!ā€

On April 3, 1968, the night before the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated by a white supremacist, he gave a speech in support of sanitation workers in Memphis, Tennessee. Since 1966, King had tried to broaden the civil rights movement for racial equality into a larger movement for economic justice. He joined the sanitation workers in Memphis, who were on strike after years of bad pay and such dangerous conditions that two men had been crushed to death in garbage compactors.

After his friend Ralph Abernathy introduced him to the crowd, King had something to say about heroes: ā€œAs I listened to Ralph Abernathy and his eloquent and generous introduction and then thought about myself, I wondered who he was talking about.ā€

Dr. King told the audience that if God had let him choose any era in which to live, he would have chosen the one in which he had landed. ā€œNow, that’s a strange statement to make,ā€ King went on, ā€œbecause the world is all messed up. The nation is sick. Trouble is in the land; confusion all around…. But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough, can you see the stars.ā€ Dr. King said that he felt blessed to live in an era when people had finally woken up and were working together for freedom and economic justice.

He knew he was in danger as he worked for a racially and economically just America. ā€œI don’t know what will happen now. We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn’t matter…because I’ve been to the mountaintop…. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life…. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!ā€

Hi, I’m Jillian šŸ¤

It’s been a little while since I’ve checked in here, and I wanted to share that there’s been a meaningful shift happening in my life.

I’m the heart behind Wild Roots Holistic, an Integrative Healing Arts practice rooted in mindfulness, energy healing, and whole-person wellness. Over the years, my path has continued to guide me back to this work—work that feels deeply aligned, intentional, and true.

I am a Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master, Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator, and Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner with nearly 7 years of experience in energy healing. My approach supports the nervous system, emotional balance, spiritual connection, and the body’s natural ability to heal—meeting each person exactly where they are.

At Wild Roots Holistic, I hold space for those who are navigating stress, transition, burnout, or simply feeling called to slow down and reconnect. This work blends Reiki, mindfulness, intuitive guidance, and holistic practices that honor both science and spirit.

My office is located between Young Harris and Hiawassee, Georgia, near Lake Chatuge, offering a peaceful setting for rest, reflection, and renewal.

This season feels like a return—to presence, purpose, and roots.
If you’re feeling a shift too, you’re warmly welcome here 🌿
