Prioritising mental wellbeing is essential โค๏ธ Yoga is somewhere you can simply just 'be', part of a wonderful caring community and also connected to far bigger things, the universe and nature. We are all unique, all on different journeys, but finding this wonderful healing practice which connects us and leads us back to peace and calm, time and time again, is something we all share โค๏ธ ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ

A simple reminder this World Mental Health Day. I'm pleased to support my lovely Yogis in prioritising mental wellbeing. Yoga is somewhere you can simply just 'be', yet it also reminds us we are not alone, part of a wonderful caring community and also connected to far bigger things such as nature and the universe. I know we live in a fast-paced world, moreso since social media, with YouTube shorts, sped up voice notes, information overload at speed, moving you onto the next thing before you've even had a chance to digest. Even big news is forgotten as the next sensational story appears. It shouldn't surprise me therefore, that I'm seeing adverts offering qualifications in yoga teaching within as little as 8 weeks, or sometimes 3 months. Everyone wants everything right now, noone has the time. But to enter into this properly, you need time - to grow, to experience, to fully immerse, to learn from others, not just learn a series of postures. For me that took 2.5 years in total - a foundation course based around philosophy and the chakras plus teacher training 2 years duration, plus another 6 months on pregnancy yoga. Good luck to anybody signing up to these short courses, but remember it's a marathon not a sprint ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿคท๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ•‰
