Its great to see another box ticked for male su***de reduction. 3 years ago we started talks with Senator Susan McDonald about a MSM media advertizing campaign. Back then we called it no hope on a rope. We and others have been pushing for many years for this to happen and its happened.
Watching Msm over the last month its heart warming to see the male su***de awarness advertising on Main stream media. And to see the ads being pushed mote frequently over this time of year is great.
The is now hiting every corner of our country.

2.5 hours of Free Dance tomorrow in Melbourne.

FREEDANCE is back,

Out in the Open Air over the summer.

Join us on Saturday, 27th December, from 2pm for a 2:30 start, by the Darebin Creek at the eastern end of Thornbury (Rossmoyne St).

As always, the music will be diverse to encourage diverse movement. I will guide the drop-in, warm-up and ending, with the freedom to dance how you want and need.

Please be advised that FREEDANCE is a no-conversation zone to encourage a deep drop in to our embodied experience and expression without unnecessary distraction.

Entry is free, drug and alcohol free. FREEDANCE is an inclusive, safe space for all genders (or none).

Introducing the Facilitators of the Gathering of Wellbeing 2026 by Mens Wellbeing and Women's Wellbeing Association

From Friday, 27th of February to Sunday, 1st of March 2026, the Gathering of Wellbeing will come together under the theme Unity, inviting reconnection with self, with others, and with the wider whole.

As the Gathering of Wellbeing 2026 approaches, we begin to introduce the facilitators who will be holding the workshops, circles, and shared experiences across the weekend.

The facilitators coming together for this sacred weekend represent a wide range of lived experiences, professional backgrounds, and embodied practices.

What unites them is a shared commitment to holding spaces that are respectful, inclusive, and grounded, where people of all genders can explore connection, difference, and belonging in meaningful ways.

Hey Guys,

Here's something to get you out of your comfort zone. :-)

Join Improv Pit.crew in the park over summer for six weeks of free, improvised comedy sessions designed to bring people together, have fun, and learn improv!

We will meet on Sundays next to the Rotunda at Edinburgh Gardens in Fitrzoy between 2 and 4 pm from the 18th of January to the 22nd of February.

Each session, we will begin with a warm-up with games, a cast member from The Improv Pit will facilitate some exercises to help you build the basic skills of improvised comedy, before opening the floor for a relaxed improv jam that anyone can jump into.

All are welcome; no prior improv experience or participation in a previous session is necessary.

Join one session or as many as you want! Invite your friends, pets, and family to join.

This is designed to be a low-pressure way to play in the park, laugh, and meet new friends.
