Get Your Happy Back isn't about always being happy and flashing your perma-grin everywhere you go. That would be ridiculous ... and weird. It's about inspiring and empowering you to make your happiness a priority and enabling you with thoughts, tools, skills, ideas, and perspectives that might help you get your happy back again and again.

In Sweden, dads pushing strollers isn’t a headline.
In the U.S., it’s a standing ovation.

…and that right there says a lot.

If you’re the one doing it all, holding it all together, and feeling resentful that your partner isn’t stepping up…You’re the over-functioner.

And the power to change it isn’t in getting them to do more… It’s in you refusing to do it all.

Eric and I share how we got from resentment and defensiveness to what feels like a team of co-pilots… and it was a weirdly windy road. As moms, it’s easy to become the default parent, schedule (chaos?) coordinator, and manager, monitorer, and seeer of all the things (did he just step over that sock AGAIN?!).

But that’s not sustainable (or fair), and learning how to divide household tasks is one of THE MOST important steps toward a happier relationship. And, believe me, there’s a lot of invisible stuff in the way.

Tune into this podcast episode to hear each of our recollections on how we got to where we are today…and you decide whose memory is more accurate 😂

People are so confused about what makes relationships “healthy” AND why their communication goes down the drain so quickly. 😅 Miscommunication is unfortunately easy and I’m here to help.

Our Good Habit Cards are kinda like consequences… if consequences went to therapy. 😅

They still hold kids accountable, but they also help them learn, self-reflect, and rebuild. It’s a built-in grounding system that actually builds good habits.

Less shame. More growth.
Less chaos. More calm.

Our stupidest fights include a knock-down-drag-out over paint color in the middle of Home Depot and the “By the way, you left the garage light 💡 on” incident of 2004.

And no, she does’t like me all the time…that’s not the point. The point is it’s easy to like and respect people who like and respect themselves…and this workshop outlines HOW to have boundaries and consequences in a way that won’t negatively impact your relationship.
