Love hearing feedback like this from my movement clients! I am deeply grateful when people trust me to accompany them on their life's journey, whether in friendship or as a movement class teacher/movement assessment session guide. Or both, in this case. πŸ’ž If you want to learn more about working with me as I finish my RYC teacher training certification program (or after), DM me and follow this space for upcoming opportunities!

One day I may write out the full story.. who knows. For now, feel free to ask for more if you want to! The story is long and twisty and contains the whole human experience. Like everything else in life. Honoring the miracle that is my existence on this planet today. πŸ’ž

My next Zoom group movement practice is planned for February 21 at 9:30am!
The next couple weeks are extra full with my small humans home from school for mid-winter break and I am creating some extra space in my days to spend some quality time with them.
I would love have you join me for this upcoming group class! DM me for the Zoom link and such.
I have loved leading these movement practices and the feedback has been so lovely. πŸ’—

When I first realized my body is sensitive to common foods such as gluten, dairy, and rice (like, really?!? RICE? But yes, it’s real), I had a hard time thinking it was ok to bring my own food from home unless it was something like an energy bar. That’s not true for me anymore! I always do my research on how I can respect local regulations and a restaurants guidelines, then I find ways to stay happily fed and enjoy a place I love to hang out! Like πŸ’ž

The Restore Your Core program has been such a powerful healing and embodiment tool for me in the last 9 years or so. And I will be a RYC certified teacher by the end of April if all goes to plan! Huzzah! Lauren Ohayon: Core, Pelvic Floor + More Movement

Start your week off with some intentional, functional core and pelvic floor movement that inspires you to be more curious and playful in "how you do what you do when you do what you do" (quote from Lauren Ohayon). Class will be about 1 hour long and I will offer ways to adapt it to your needs as we move together. DM me for a Zoom link and more class details!

Who doesn’t need another simple tool for supporting nervous system resilience right now? Do what you can to care for yourself, friends. That way we can be more supported to intentionally engage from a place of Love despite the fear and rage and chaos and hate swirling around (and maybe within) us. Sending peace and love, Julie

I still need some volunteers for 1:1 movement assessment sessions! These are about 1 hour of exploration of your movement/breath/alignment patterns and adaptations. With curiosity and compassion as our guides, we play with finding more functionality and movement in gentle, sustainable ways that can support you in living the life you want to live. You come away with some actionable steps and hopefully a deeper understanding of "how you do what you do when you do what you do" (try saying that 5 times fast πŸ˜‚). I LOVE doing these sessions and am consistently in awe of what arises for each person that I have had the honor of working with. So, DM me to find out more and set up an appointment. I am looking for at least 5 people to have a session with by the end of March.
Sending peace & love, Julie

This book is soooooo good! One way I am intentionally creating a world where we can all have access to the ability to flourish and thrive is to pursue my own healing through reconnecting with my whole BEing, including my body-self. Books like this one help to keep the fire under my metaphorical ass at a roaring flame even when life is so hard and messy and uncomfortable. As I heal my relationship with my own self I am more able to Love well, to live into my core values, and to imagine and create a world that is better for all of us. Have you read this book yet?
