There are lots of different ways to get around in Bangkok. Watching people ride in the back of trucks reminds me of the 1960s when I used to love to ride in the back of my dad’s pick up truck. That’s a family of four on a scooter – helmets are optional despite rapidly moving traffic. We took a tuk tuk to see a series of temples. Walking really isn’t an option because Bangkok is so big. We also did the longtailed boat tour of the canals, which gave us a back view of many of the houses which are built on stilts over the canals. The canals are quite dirty, but there are still fish and reptiles living in them.

Last night we drove our scooter into Old Town Ko Lanta in search of 100 baht ($3) cocktails. We found them at the Hidden Terrace Restaurant. To get there, takes some trust—walking through an empty storefront, through a door that has an arrow saying Sea View, and then weaving through a crowded kitchen out onto a pier with seating at the end. We watched the moon rise over a nearby island. There was an ocean breeze and the food was delicious: soft shell crab and duck with pineapple. It was an amazing evening.

We stayed at Pirates Bay Resort & Bar close to the southern tip of Ko Lanta, an island near Krabi, Thailand. The resort was isolated and without enough staff to make it truly wonderful, but it had some great moments. There’s a hike to a large tree with outrigger roots that we enjoyed. And there were both lemurs and macaque monkeys, which would be in the most unexpected places like the electrical lines or an isolated tree over the path to our room. I’ve learned to find monkeys by looking for branches that wave without any perceptible breeze. The restaurant where we drank really good coffee for breakfast looks out onto the ocean. Much of the coffee in Thailand is instant, although they grow wonderful beans in the north. We rented a scooter to get around the island. It was a lot of fun to be nimble and to have our own wheels.

Ever notice how your body seems to “speak” when words fall short?
The tightness in your chest that shows up with stress…
The flutter in your stomach before big decisions…

Polarity Therapy works with that language — the subtle flow of energy that connects body, mind, and emotion. Through gentle touch and intuitive awareness, your practitioner helps your system find its natural rhythm again.

Clients often describe it not as a treatment, but as coming home to themselves.

🌿 For grounding.
💫 For clarity.
💗 For deep rest you can feel long after the session ends.

Your skin’s craving more than moisture. It wants protection.

Cold air + indoor heat = barrier damage.
Here’s how to defend your glow:
✨ Use a gentle cleanser — avoid stripping.
💧 Layer hydrating serums (think hyaluronic acid).
🪷 Seal it in with a rich, occlusive moisturizer or facial oil.
🌸 Regular professional facials will keep your skin healthy and glowing.

Ever wondered why that knot in your shoulder gives you a headache?

Those tiny, tender spots—called trigger points—form when muscle fibers get stuck in a mini-contraction. This limits blood flow, traps waste products, and sends pain signals that can travel far beyond the original area (hello, tension headaches 👋).

The good news? Focused bodywork can release them, improve circulation, and restore balance.

💆‍♀️ Therapeutic massage helps flush out pain-causing chemicals.
🌿 Acupuncture calms overactive nerves.
🌸 Polarity therapy resets your body’s energetic flow.

➡️ Your body’s chemistry might just need a reset. Book your session today.

Take a deep breath.
This is your reminder that rest is productive too.

Self-Care Sunday isn’t just about bubble baths and candles (though we love those). It’s about pausing long enough to listen to what your body and mind truly need. Maybe that’s quiet time, maybe it’s movement, maybe it’s booking that massage you’ve been putting off.

Let today be soft.
Let it be slow.
Let it be for you.

If you’ve been feeling wired, tired, or just out of balance, ashwagandha might be the gentle support your body needs.

This powerful adaptogenic herb has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine to help the body adapt to stress and find equilibrium. Think of it as a calm anchor for a busy mind and an overworked nervous system.

Ashwagandha can help by:
✨ Calming the stress response by supporting healthy cortisol levels
🌙 Encouraging deeper, more restorative sleep
💪 Promoting steady energy throughout the day
🧘‍♀️ Easing anxious thoughts while improving focus

It works gradually, building balance from the inside out. It’s not a quick fix, but a quiet helper that supports long-term wellness.

You can find it in capsules, tinctures, and herbal teas. As with any supplement, it’s best to check with your healthcare provider before starting, especially if you’re pregnant or taking medication.

Sometimes healing begins when we give the body what it truly needs: calm, care, and consistency.

Have you ever noticed your shoulders tightening when you’re stressed, or your stomach turning when you’re anxious? That’s your body talking to you.

Our emotions don’t just live in our minds, they’re felt and processed throughout the entire body. When feelings are unacknowledged or suppressed, they can manifest as tension, discomfort, or even chronic pain over time.

Here’s how some common emotions often show up physically:
💭 Anxiety — Tightness in the chest, shallow breathing, racing heart
🔥 Anger — Tension in the jaw, neck, and back
🌧️ Sadness — Heaviness in the chest, fatigue, lowered energy
⚡ Stress — Stomach upset, headaches, muscle tightness
💔 Fear — Gut discomfort, trembling, feeling “frozen”

Becoming aware of these signals is the first step in restoring balance. The next step is creating gentle release — through deep breathing, movement, massage, or mindful stillness.

Your body and mind are always in conversation. When you listen with compassion, healing begins.
