This exercise is called "arm swinging" or "spinal twisting arm swings",a traditional gigong movement from Chinese medicine and movement therapy.
It involves gentle, rhythmic swinging of the arms with a relaxed torso twist.
While it may look simple or even silly,it has powerful benefits:
It promotes shoulder mobility,improves circulation,supports lymphatic drainage,and stimulates the nervous system.
It also helps release tension in the spine and shoulders,making it a great daily mobility ritual to enhance balance, reduce stiffness and maintain a youthful,energised body.
