AcuEnergetics® is an energy medicine modality that restores the body's flow of energy in order to increase health, wellbeing and vitality so you can live more fully and joyfully. It was developed over the past 40 years by an Australian, Kevin Niv Farrow, based on ancient Chinese, Judaic, Indian and western healing traditions as well as modern research. The modality works by encouraging the body to promote faster, natural healing to ease pain and improve physical and emotional health. AcuEnergetics® understands that pain, disease and loss of function in the body and mind are caused by a disruption in the flow of your body's energy. Our energy is influenced by physical factors such as an injury, and also our attitudes and thoughts. When we are angry, worried or sad this energy moves in a contracting way, restricting flow and inhibiting the regular functions of the body. Over time, your muscles and organs can’t do their jobs properly, wounds won’t heal and pain and symptoms start to appear. As an AcuEnergetics® Practitioner, I use my hands on precise points on the body to restore the natural flow of energy, mostly without actually touching the body.
