Imaginarium Gallery Nonprofit DMV

Imaginarium Gallery Nonprofit DMV We can't teach you to have imagination. We support using it as a tool for building knowledge with the architecture of Wisdom over Folly. Sincerely,
Roan

Here, discussion trumps argument. We explore perspectives, not victories. We create the space; you make the journey. Every society in every ancient and modern age grapple with the question of what outcomes it hopes to produce in raising its young. What exactly do we hope our children will be able to accomplish as adults? What vision guides our work? How do we make that vision a reality for all children? How do we better harness what is known in the research, practice, and policy arenas to ensure that all youth have what they need to successfully meet the complex challenges of young adulthood? Preparing all youth for meaningful, productive futures requires coordinated efforts and intentional practices by adults across all the settings youth inhabit on a daily basis. To address these questions, the Imaginarium Gallery aims to build a common comprehension of developmental needs from childhood through adulthood and proposes a developmental framework for assistance toward building foundations for success. For more information and questions, please don't hesistate to send a message or reach out.

Umph.
A lot of racist white men still miss Mammy. I'm convinced that it's a transgenerational epigenetic inheritance at this point. They're still grieving the loss of Mammy.
There is still a deep yearning for the image of a Black woman wrapping herself around white authority and saying, without hesitation, “I love you.” "I thank god for this man."
Because Mammy offers something intoxicating. It is the promise that no matter what racist harm has been done there will still be a Black woman willing to smile, to hug, to kiss, to reassure, to forgive you.
And you could see the visible pleasure that demon took in being publicly affirmed by a Black grandmother during Black History Month.

I'd add that the sad part is that Dump used her grief to make her think he gaf... and watch the kiss at the end. She kissed him but he grabbed her shoulders and turned his cheek... damn... damn... damn, James!
