🤱 As healthcare providers, we are COMMITTED to helping you and your family achieve the best possible health.
🤱 We will be COMPETENT providers of breastfeeding assistance through staff education.
🤱 We will SUPPORT parents with information, exploration of their concerns, and provide access to resources to make informed decisions regarding infant feeding.
🤱 We will ENCOURAGE the initiation of skin-to-skin contact at all births including planned Caesarean sections, as well as breastfeeding on demand.
🤱 We will REFRAIN from introducing food or drink other than breastmilk to breastfed newborns, unless medically necessary.
🤱 We will maintain STRONG CONNECTIONS with Public Health Postpartum Services and community breastfeeding support services to facilitate mothers to have the best breastfeeding relationships with their infants as possible.
🤱 We also have a lactation consultant onsite to help with breastfeeding concerns in our pregnant or postpartum patients.
