What a Gem,
Sounds so easy,
Simetimes we,re presented with a version.of who they are which overrides anything and everything else,
Why, well because we want to believe in the snippet or the good parts sooo much, that we counteract, justify, ignore or rationalize anything that doesnt fit with our fantasy.

End result...disappointment, hurt , possibly self fulfilling prophecys being redefined...( ppl always let me down) for example.

Eyes wide open folks.
Take people EXACTLY as they are
Assess what feels good, talk about what doesnt

Work on you, so you can avoid NEEEEEEDING a relationship , ( usually responsible for overlooking red flags or mismatches)

Learn some skills if you need to , so you can have your boundaries, and your voice

And listen to your heart ( and your head ) ☺️

So many choices out there, not everyone will be your fit,
Not everyone needs to be

Loneliness, thinking youre not worth more, unmet childood needs such as connection, safety or simply love, will drive you to look past flaws or warning signs, because The NEED is so painful, so holliw that you,ll do anything to just feel comfort from it,
The brain will justify, normalize and avoid truth, in order to create a picture of what you NEED them to be,
Pushing a round peg in a square hole.

They always showed you who they were, maybe not fully , but your instincts were always spot on,
But you gaslit yourself
Because you hurt ..

They provided temporary comfort, but it didnt last, andnow youre even lonelier. But angry, why couldnt they be what you are

Sweetie, youre a good person, deserve love and respect. But if you dont heal your past wounds somewhat, youre likely to keep picking from a place of desperation and bypass gods warnings to you.

If you could feel whole to an extent,
Really value you and know your worth and raise your standards because youve finally stopped feeling like your childhood was your fault.
You will feel different
Be less grasping
And capable of taking your time. Knowing that if this onr isnt right,
There absolutely will be others that are.
