In today’s fast-paced world, stress has become a companion, affecting people from all walks of life. Recognizing the importance of inner balance and mental well-being, professors and students of St. Wilfred PG College, Jaipur participated wholeheartedly in an Integrated Amrita Meditation (IAM) workshop.
The session offered a wonderful opportunity for everyone to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves amid the hectic demands of academic and personal responsibilities.
The IAM Meditation Technique, created by Amma, is a simple yet powerful practice that brings mental clarity, emotional balance, and physical relaxation. For professors managing classes, research, mentoring, and family duties and for students balancing studies, exams, and future ambitions, IAM provides a much-needed space to unwind and recharge.
As Amma beautifully reminds us, “Relaxation is the art of making the mind still. Once you learn this art, everything happens spontaneously and effortlessly.”
Regular practice of IAM enhances concentration, patience, and inner calm—qualities that improve academic performance, teaching effectiveness, and overall well-being. It helps individuals respond to life’s challenges with awareness rather than stress.
