🚨 So, how do you test your bulls for Trich?
When the bulls are already in for their annual breeding soundness exam, we recommend:
✅ A sheath sample collected at the same time — no extra mustering, no extra fuss.
✅ Act fast: these samples are time and temperature sensitive.
🐂 Here’s how you can get it done:
• We can come on-farm with our mobile PCR tech for crush-side testing
• Or, get the sample to us (or your closest lab) ASAP for rapid turnaround
💡 Remember:
You’ve already mustered the bulls. You’re already evaluating their semen. Don’t skip testing for a high-impact STI that can silently wipe out your branding rate.
