A balanced nervous system supports our immunity, vitality, and overall physical, psychological, and hormonal health. Building our capacity for regulation is also an ethical form of care—for ourselves and for others—especially in times of uncertainty and change.

The following classes offer a space for safe connection, nurturance, rest, and rejuvenation, while gently building your capacity for regulation. Through trauma-sensitive, seasonal embodiment, breath-work, and meditation, we’ll tend to the body, mind, and nervous system together—supporting your steadiness, well-being, and resilience throughout the winter season.

“Winter is not the death of the life cycle, but its crucible.”
― Katherine May

As we enter a new year, full of uncertainty and latent potentiality, our winter practice can offer essential space for rest, rejuvenation and compassionate inquiry.

Energetically, winter is a season of incubation and internal change. It supports the burning away of old habits and attachments that are no longer useful, while creating the conditions for meaningful self-transformation.

If you're seeking opportunities to practice together, I'm offering two online class series— a Yin-Restorative Series & an Embodied Resilience Practice Series, February 4 - March 19th, 2026.

These therapeutic sessions will restore and energize your body through practices that support immunity, circulation, and lymphatic flow, alongside somatic movement for your fascia and organs that encourages relaxation, entrains the breath, and regulates your nervous system.

Tending The Heart :: Practices for Physiological & Emotional Regulation

According to the heart coherence is "the state when the heart, mind and emotions are in energetic alignment and cooperation." Heart coherence is key to our overall health and optimal functioning. When the heart and mind are in coherence, “the regulation of life processes become efficient, free-flowing and easy".

Similarly, in yoga and Ayurveda, the heart is considered the original seat of consciousness, a crucial energetic hub in the body where many physical and energetic pathways intersect. The heart is the convergence between our inner and outer worlds. Ojas (our most subtle essence of vitality and immunity) resides in the heart and can be negatively impacted by stress, trauma, lifestyle, the quality of our relationships and our state of consciousness.

If you're seeking opportunities to nurture your heart & nervous system this summer, I'm offering two trauma-sensitive sessions:

💚 A Somatic Yin-Restorative Series - July 23 - Aug 20
💚 An Embodied Resilience Practice Series July 24 - August 21

In these classes we'll address seasonal imbalances, supporting the work of your physical heart, digestion and circulation. We'll focus on somatic awareness, releasing neuromuscular tension, stress and anxiety, and encouraging your body's natural intelligence to self-regulate and heal.

We'll also explore meditative practices for self-compassion, deep rest and balance within your body, heart & mind.

“Yearning is meant to call you past the boundaries…past the things that are guaranteed for you, precisely so you can discover — and here is creativity — what is unknown to you.” - Rev.angel Kyodo williams

"...along with the other animals, the stones, the trees, and the clouds, we ourselves are characters within a huge story that is visibly unfolding all around us, participants within the vast imagination, or Dreaming, of the world."
- David Abram

As we enter this new year amidst complex crises, increasing inequity and polarization, our yoga practice can offer essential refuge, rest and space for reimagining. It can remind us to connect to the part of ourselves that cannot be harmed or restricted. It can nurture our resilience and strengthen our capacity to hold complexity and grief and respond to adversity. It can support us in the work of restoring our sacred relationship to the generous web of life.

If you're seeking opportunities to practice together, I'm offering the following therapeutic classes to support you in cultivating embodied mindfulness, self-regulation and resilience.

For winter, we'll prioritize deepening our presence, longevity and insight practices. We'll balance the nervous system, unwind memory and tension, stoke our inner fire and explore befriending our shadow and light.
