If you’re feeling exhausted right now — it’s not just you.
This time of year pulls on every part of us.
The pressure to finish strong, keep everyone happy, and hold it all together can quietly drain the joy from what’s meant to be a season of slowing down.

You don’t need to earn your rest.
You don’t need to prove your worth through productivity.
You’ve already done enough.

Let your body exhale.
Let the year close gently.
You deserve to begin the next one rested — not running on fumes.

Your girl did it — she did the thing! 💫
I am officially a qualified EMK Kinesiologist! I was a week ago 😜 but I’ve been busy being a touch carnival mum for my Lucie girl.

I loved studying with the support of beautiful Bron here in Highfields.

These past nine months have stretched me far beyond my comfort zone. I’ve learned so much, grown even more, and witnessed the incredible power of kinesiology through my case studies and my family. It’s been humbling, healing, and honestly — life-changing.

If I hadn’t walked into that very first session of my own four years ago when I still lived in Emerald, I wouldn’t be standing here today. Sometimes the scariest thing is simply starting — taking the leap into the unknown. But standing where I am now, every step, every assessment/case study, every moment of doubt has been worth it.

A huge thank you to my husband, who supported me emotionally and financially through it all — working tirelessly and carrying so much so that I could close Cas’ Cakery and fully dedicate myself to studying and stepping into this new chapter. None of this would have been possible without that support and belief.

✨ You can now book Kinesiology sessions directly through my website! With an introductory price for the remainder of the year. ✨✨

🌸 I love working with mothers and children — helping restore safety to the nervous system, release survival patterns, and bring calm back into the body.

Through Kinesiology and Reiki, we can gently shift the energy that keeps families stuck in stress and help change generational patterns of fear, overgiving, and disconnection.

When you regulate, your children feel it.
When you heal, your lineage softens.
When you return to calm, your home remembers safety. 🤍

✨ Book a session or reach out if your body is ready to rest, recalibrate, and remember peace.

✧ FINAL Part of my STORY ✨✨

In September 2021 I walked into my very first kinesiology session in Emerald.
Her name was Lorelei. I thought I was going to heal a whiplash injury.

I had no idea I was about to meet myself.

What unfolded in the next 4 years that followed changed my entire life — not just my neck, not just my health — but my relationship with myself, my body, my voice, my intuition, and the way I existed in the world.

That session was the first time I realised healing wasn’t about fixing symptoms —
it was about finally coming home to who I had always been underneath the pain.

As I changed, my life reorganised itself around that truth.

And here’s some snap shots of the epic moments I had on that journey!

We left Emerald.
We moved to Toowoomba.
I opened my own studio.
I found my own gifts.
And eventually, I closed the studio too — not because it failed, but because I no longer needed it as proof that I was becoming someone. I already was.

You’ve all watched the closing of Cas’ Cakery, but what most of you didn’t fully realise is that it wasn’t just a business ending — it was an identity I had outgrown. Healing showed me that I didn’t lose who I was… I grew into who I am.

By the end of next week I will be a qualified kinesiologist.
Not by accident — but by initiation.

This is me closing the story of who I used to be and standing fully in the woman I have become.

Sometimes a single decision begins the unraveling of an entire life — not because everything breaks down,
but because we finally choose ourselves
and everything misaligned gently releases.

I didn’t manifest a new life.
I remembered I was allowed to have one.

This isn’t a new chapter.
This is the woman I was always becoming.

I know a lot of you followed me for the buttercream…
and now I’m over here talking nervous systems, embodiment and shadow work like it’s a piping technique 😂

So if some of what I share feels a little “???” — I get it.
When I started healing, none of the language made sense to me either.
I learned the same way I learned cakes…
step by step, layer by layer, one “what on earth is this?” moment at a time.

This carousel is just a bridge —
healing in cake-language.

Ingredients = what you’re made of
Recipe = safety
Oven = transformation
Decorating = the reveal

Because just like cake…
the inside has to be solid before you pretty it up.

If you’re curious — stay close.
You don’t need to “get it all” to begin.
You just start where you are — same as baking.

And yes… I’m basically still doing cakes,
just with hearts instead of buttercream 😉

Should I make more ‘healing explained through cake’ posts?
Let me know if you want Part 2 in fondant language 😏

What I thought was my shadow was never my darkness —
it was the part of me who was never held.
The woman who carried everything alone,
who stood at the threshold of becoming
and had no one left to witness her arrival.

She didn’t devour because she was cruel —
she devoured because she was collapsing.
She was survival wearing the mask of power,
trying to keep life alive with a body that was already dying.

Today I didn’t ‘heal’ her —
I came back for her.
I let her lay down the weight she carried across lifetimes
and I welcomed her back into my bones.

She is not my shadow.
She is my unfinished becoming.
And now that she is home,
I am whole.

“The moment she reclaimed her voice, her children stopped carrying her silence.”

There are wounds we think belong to us —
until we realise they were never ours to begin with.

The body remembers every lifetime where she was silenced, punished, or stripped of her truth…
and when we don’t heal it, our children unconsciously hold the fragments for us.

They show us
in their fear,
in their dreams,
in their throat,
in their nervous system,
in the places they disconnect from themselves
before they even understand why.

They don’t need fixing —
they’re signalling where we are ready to return.

Because when a woman reclaims the voice she once lost,
the children no longer need to carry the echoes.

The lineage exhales.
The cycle breaks.
The future changes.

Not through effort…
but through remembrance.

And this is how healing travels forward —
not as suffering,
but as liberation passed down the bloodline.
