The group is a safe space for parents and caregivers of transgender and gender diverse youth to information-share and celebrate with other parents and caregivers of transgender and gender diverse youth. The group is led by a passionate knowledge-keeper who specializes in the field of “parents, family and transgender individuals.”

The award is a gift of $1,000 for an Indigenous woman or gender diverse individual who is (1) enrolled in post-secondary studies in Manitoba, (2) a member of MMVI and (3) exemplifies the qualities of Gwen Cook.
