On Saturday evening, a mass shooting in California left at least four people dead at a child’s birthday party, with ten others injured.
Both adults and children were among the victims. The suspect is still at large, and police believe the incident may have been targeted.

We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident. It serves as a stark reminder of the importance of public safety and emergency preparedness.

This clip of Andy’s crash has been circulating for a while. Many focus on that “one moment of rescue,” but what truly made the difference was the crew’s calm mindset and preparation. Andy suffered a serious hip injury, and thanks to the right actions, he made a full recovery.

In situations where a hip injury or possible fracture is suspected,
apply a pelvic binder at the greater trochanter and keep the patient warm while awaiting rescue.
These simple steps can greatly reduce the risk of further harm.

On May 23, 2025, two mountaineers were descending the Squak Glacier on Mt. Baker after a successful summit. The climb had gone smoothly — until one of them, Daton, suddenly broke through a weak snow bridge. In an instant, he was hanging over a 50–60 ft deep crevasse, his torso and snowboard barely supported by his arms.
His partner, who was just behind him, witnessed the fall and immediately sprang into action. Staying calm, he anchored himself and began setting up a proper crevasse rescue system. Every movement counted — testing the rope tension, securing the pulleys, and carefully managing the haul line. After several tense minutes, he managed to pull Daton up from the icy void. Both of them skied down safely, unharmed but deeply aware of how crucial training and readiness are in such moments.
This real footage captures more than just a rescue — it’s a powerful reminder of the importance of glacier safety, rescue competency, and never taking the mountains for granted. ❄

1. Severe frostbite after he got stranded overnight in a blizzard.
2. High-voltage electrical burn from a power line accident.
3. Crushed hand injury in a factory machine leading to vascular damage.
4. Snakebite from a pit viper causing massive tissue necrosis.
5. Gas gangrene infection after a contaminated puncture wound at his job.
6. Arterial line complication causing total hand ischemia.
7. Contracted bubonic, pneumonic, and septicaemic plague while trying to pull a mouse out of his cat’s mouth.
8. Chemical burn from accidentally spilling industrial cleaning acid on his skin.

First Aid for a Penetrating Wound 🚑🩸

⚠️ Gunshot wound:
Pack the wound firmly with compressed gauze to stop bleeding.
Keep steady pressure until help arrives.

⚠️ Stab wound (object still in):
Never pull it out! It can cause severe bleeding.
Stabilize the object, wrap it together with the wound,
and get to the nearest medical facility immediately.
