This meme might make you laugh... because let’s be real, if men had periods, the world would probably look a lot different.

Men and women are treated very differently in healthcare. Women's pain is more likely to be dismissed, minimized, or chalked up to “stress” or “hormones.” And to make things worse, most medical research is still done on male bodies, which means women are often left out of the data... even though our biology is completely different. That gap in research and recognition has left many women suffering silently, told their debilitating symptoms are “just part of being a woman.”

😣Every man should know that periods aren’t just a mild inconvenience or a few cramps. They’re completely life-disrupting. Days of sharp, stabbing pain… missing work or school… needing a heating pad and pain meds just to get through the day. And that’s not even including the emotional rollercoaster that can come with it.

⚠️Conditions like endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, and PMDD are serious, but still far too often ignored, misdiagnosed, or brushed off. And if your labs look “normal”? You’re often told nothing’s wrong... even when your body is clearly saying otherwise. For example... on average it takes 7-9 YEARS to be diagnosed with endometriosis after symptoms start presenting.

Emotions are stored and expressed through the body. The proof is in the research.

🧠 Liver & Anger: Chronic anger and stress trigger the sympathetic nervous system, increasing cortisol and inflammatory cytokines, which can worsen PMS, tension headaches, and toxin buildup (NCBI, 2021).

🦋 Thyroid & Feeling Unheard: Emotional suppression and chronic stress affect the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis, disrupting hormone levels and potentially contributing to hypothyroidism (Frontiers in Endocrinology, 2022).

🫀 Kidneys & Fear: Long-term fear activates the HPA axis, impacting adrenal function and leading to fatigue, back pain, and bladder sensitivity (Journal of Psychosomatic Research, 2019).

❤️ Heart & Heartbreak: Emotional distress can raise heart rate and blood pressure. “Broken heart syndrome” (Takotsubo cardiomyopathy) is a real, stress-induced condition that mimics a heart attack (Harvard Health, 2020).

💧 Bladder & Worry: The bladder is sensitive to emotional states. Anxiety increases pelvic floor tension, contributing to urinary urgency, pain, or dysfunction (International Urogynecology Journal, 2018).

💨 Lungs & Grief: Grief often alters breathing patterns, weakening respiratory function and increasing susceptibility to conditions like asthma or chronic fatigue (Journal of Behavioral Medicine, 2017).

✅ One Direction releases a perfume, it becomes viral on Social Media.
✅ Michael Jordan puts out a new shoe, people buy it.
✅Oprah promotes a weight loss program, everyone jumps on board.
✅Matthew McConaughy is the spokesman for a car and people want it.
✅ Apple releases a new phone and people stand in line for it.

A friend or family member starts a new online business, people are wary of buying their product!!!??? 😱

Why are we so quick to support someone we don't know, who has plenty of money already.

Yet we come up with a million reasons not to support someone we know and love. And don't even bother to ask them how they are going. 😥

When you support direct sales and small businesses, you are helping families you know feed their kids, pay their mortgage, and support an entrepreneurial mindset that's positive and seeking happiness and well being!

If there’s one thing I’ll never stop doing it’s sharing ways to holistically heal the body at the root and prevent dis-ease. My patient autoimmune journey taught me

The body cannot heal if it is not in a state of rest and digest.

What does "rest and digest" even mean?

This is the parasympathetic nervous system which is in contrast to the sympathetic nervous system (aka Fight or Flight).

When your body is in the fight or flight state, it makes healing VERY difficult. You will not be able to regulate inflammation or digest your food which will lead to MORE inflammation and nutrient deficiencies.

Being in a rest and digest state allows your body to repair tissues, balance hormones, support optimal digestion, immune function, and so much more.

Rest and digest allows you to HEAL.

💔 Your gut is trying to heal—stop interrupting it!

Your gut is working every single second to restore balance, rebuild your microbiome, and digest your food properly. It WANTS to heal. But most people are unknowingly making it harder.

🚨 What’s blocking your healing?

❌ Over-sanitizing your environment
Your gut needs exposure to bacteria to build resilience. If you’re constantly using antibacterial everything, avoiding dirt, or never interacting with nature, your microbiome isn’t getting the diversity it needs.

❌ Forcing a ‘clean’ diet overnight
I get it. You want to fix your gut ASAP. But switching from ultra-processed foods to 100% “clean” eating overnight can shock your gut, leading to bloating, gas, and even worse symptoms. Change should be gradual!

❌ Stressing over every symptom
