This silent killer has been on rampage since ages. In 2011, World Health Organization (WHO) announced that alcohol is to blame for just about 4% of, or 2.5 million deaths worldwide annually. And alcohol is just one of the substances ruining lives.
We are mental health care professionals, who have taken this initiative to act on this deadly disease. Yes it is a disease and it can be treated, But not without those who suffer acknowledge this problem and join hands with us to heal themselves and spread awareness.
