Tomorrow is world prematurity day💜
I've always been extremely passionate about celebrating our tiny miracles and their determination to survive in their big, new world💜
I dedicated this week to my ongoing learning and attended a fantastic 4 day training on Neurodevelopmental Supportive Care for the premature infant💜
Today I celebrated with Mediclinic Victoria Hospital and presented a short talk on communication with the premature baby💜
I feel so blessed to have travelled through many journeys with families and staff as we nurtured our tiny humans into this world💜
I remember those who fought so hard but were unable to win their battle and the devastation parents go through when they experience premature infant loss💜
I salute the parents for their love and ongoing dedication to their babies during the difficult NICU journey. I salute the NICU nurses for their ongoing passion and nurturing our tiny humans. I salute the doctors who fight for our babies to survive and who just never give up. I salute all other team members involved who sacrifice time away from their own families to help our tiny humans get home safely💜
