Some action this morning.

4 x 500m row repeats with a 90 sec rest between each round.

Aerobic work should be sustainable in nature. Pace is dictated by the length of working sets, along with intent.

I like to program increasing rounds. Once a round is slower than the one before, work-out's over.

Great way to make pacing as big-a-part of you aerobic expression as it needs to be.

Program design with a focus on the individual should challenge, but ultimately build important components of good movement. This also includes Anterior, Posterior and Lateral-Trunk contraction during dynamic, functional movement. This is a good starting point, but water requirements might even be higher. Factors like training, temperature and current state of hydration all play an integral part.

*If you weigh 100kg, you'd need 3ltr water per day

Enough can't be said about taking care of the 'little things' everyday. Finding value in Health-over-Intensity might take a bit longer to acquire your goals. But will last A LOT longer than Intensity-over-Health ever will.

Placing emphasis on things like:
- Drinking enough water
- Quality of water consumed
- Eating enough nutrient dense food
- Quality of energy ingested
- Moving enough everyday

Will provide a framework of health that will last you longer than any training plan ever could.

I for one, am going to Love myself, Love the people around me, and Love my life. Life is too short to focus on all the negative.

Every training program has to progress somewhere specifically. Otherwise your training will eventually take you nowhere.

Every coach has a responsibility toward their clients. If your training program's progression only goes 'heavier and faster', that can indicate a lack of imagination (or understanding). Constantly heavier and faster without improved movement puts your clients at serious risk. Way beyond their function.
