Your mind is like a muscle. 💪🏻
You don’t stay at 5kg forever , once your muscles get stronger, you pick up heavier weights🤍

So why should your mind be any different?

The thoughts, the emotions, the experiences you’ve faced before , that was your 5kg. You survived it. You learned from it. You built strength.

Now life asks you to lift 7kg.
It’s heavier. It aches. It shakes you. You wobble.
But here’s the thing: your 5kg isn’t gone. It’s built into the 7kg. You’re already holding part of it. You’re not starting over , you’re lifting from a stronger foundation than before 🪿🤍

This isn’t going backwards. The struggle is purposeful.
Every “heavier weight” your mind carries is building resilience, shaping your growth, and teaching you what you’re capable of 🪿🤍🤍💪🏻

Stop justifying. Start owning. ✨

We spend so much time explaining ourselves, our choices, our feelings, our mistakes and thinking it will make us “enough” in someone else’s eyes. The truth? It doesn’t.

Justifying can feel like protection, but it drains our energy, feeds self-doubt, and even stops us from taking real accountability. True growth comes when we stop defending and start owning our life, our voice, our story.

💡 Reminder: You don’t need permission to exist. You don’t need to explain your feelings, your choices, or your presence. You are enough, exactly as you are.

💬 Reflection: What’s one thing you’ve been overexplaining lately? Could you try just owning it instead

Feeling “not good enough” is one of the most human thoughts we have and one of the hardest to carry alone🪿You see counselling helps us reframe it, not with false positivity, but with understanding. You’re not alone in feeling this way , and that’s exactly why we’re here 🤍🤍

Sometimes being lost is the only way to be found🤍🪿

We spend so much of life moving, searching, trying to “figure it out,” that we forget to stop and notice ourselves. I often use David Wagoner’s poem “Lost” in sessions to help people reconnect with themselves and their present moment.

Being lost isn’t a failure , it’s actually an invitation. It’s a conversation with yourself, a pause that lets awareness catch up. When you stand still, breathe, and notice where you are, the world begins to unblur. The trees, the bushes, the noise and most importantly, you 🤍all come into focus

Here, right now, is enough. You are enough. And sometimes, the beauty of life isn’t in finding your way out, but in discovering that you were already exactly where you needed to be🤍🪿

Here’s some fun things I have in my practice: 🤍🪿Because healing shouldn’t feel like a chore it should feel like yours. From cozy couches to calming corners, art clay, squishys, ice-breaker cards, and video diaries, every tool in my space is here to make counselling safe, relatable, and yes, even a little fun✨

No cookie-cutter sessions, just real support, tailored to your story and your pace🤍

Because counselling should fit you, not the other way around✨🤌🏻

Su***de prevention isn’t a single day or a post , not even *sharing* hotlines. Awareness alone doesn’t save lives. The moments that matter most are the small, consistent actions: following up when someone seems “fine,” listening without trying to fix, and staying present when it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient. 🤍🤍

We all know the tools exist ; hotlines, resources, campaigns but knowing isn’t enough. People need guidance and support to actually use these tools in meaningful ways. Teaching presence and active engagement is what makes a real difference.

This is just my perspective, based on observation and insight. Awareness is important, but action and consistent care save lives. 🤍🪿🪿

I use beading in counselling sessions not because it looks nice, but because it works. When clients sit down with beads, they’re not just being “mindful” , they’re practicing what it feels like to hold things together, to focus, to breathe ✨🪿

And when a bead slips or the pattern doesn’t work out? That’s real life too. We don’t always get it perfect. What matters is noticing how we respond, picking it up, and carrying on🤍🤍

Beading gives clients a space to slow down, connect, and build resilience , one bead at a time 🤍🪿

The things that shape us most never show up on a CV. They’re not the titles, deadlines, or degrees but the invisible lessons we pick up along the way.

They don’t get listed under “experience”… yet they’re the reason we can navigate life, relationships, and pressure with more ease.

Boundaries don’t have to be confusing🪿🤍. I like to think of them as a house:

🛤 Pathway → Who you allow to come and go
🚪 Door → Your non-negotiables
🪟 Windows → Boundaries with yourself
🏠 Roof → What you offer to those inside

Your house = your energy. Protect it. Decorate it. And remember , boundaries aren’t walls, they’re the blueprint for your peace. 🤍🕊️

🧠 Sometimes, we just need a solid process to follow. Compartmentalizing our thoughts and tasks can be a game-changer. It’s not about ignoring emotions it’s about creating mental space to focus and recharge🤍🪿
