If asked this is how I would define play therapy in a short but comprehensive form. One of the key elements to me is willingly participating. The individual needs to be willing to come to play therapy, otherwise it will feel like a punishment to them and any sort of progress will be very difficult to gain.

Do you often feel that your child has some or other symptom of being sick, without a sickness? One reason could be that they are masking their emotions with various physical symptoms.

Remember, healed and healthy adults cultivate healed and healthy children! Your child is not targeting you, they are navigating their emotions for the first time in their life. Some of us have 20+ years of experiencing our emotions, tiny hearts are just starting out with this.

Have lots of grace with yourself and your children, all can be fixed with a willing heart!
