Look up girl!

The stars are brighter than the night. There is something in the act of looking up - it lifts your shoulders, your spirit and your mood.

For me - looking up is a prayer and a moment of thankfulness.

It’s also a very strong memory from my childhood.
My mom always said - no matter what happens - you get up, straighten your shoulders and you show up.
God is with you wherever you go. You have a purpose and He has a plan for you.

I love to look at the clouds.
I love to see the sun rise and I love the beautiful golden hues of sunset. This is usually when I take a moment to look up, take a deep breath and say “thank you Lord for blessing me and my family with another beautiful day.”

Can you believe it October is just around the corner and it’s going to be a busy one!

I’ll be available in Bloemfontein most of the time but here are a few important dates…

22 - 24 October I’ll be visiting Stellenbosch and Somerset West to see my patients there.

30 October we’ll be hosting a very special event at Beati as part of “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”. Keep an eye on my socials for more info later!

We’ll also be open one Saturday each month to accommodate patients who are not able to visit us during the week! Our first Weekend Clinic is this week 26-27 September with the next one 31 Oct -1 November. So if you need an after hours appointment please contact us asap to avoid disappointment.

O MY WORD - my life is definitely not “simplicity” and every week brings new challenges and surprises.

I work with people every day. I carry your story silently in my heart. I worry about you. I am sad with you. I laugh with you. I make plans with you and for you. I get upset about things or circumstances. I feel your losses and I carry your pain. I care. I care so much!

But - I would like to live more free of complicated thoughts and things.
You will often find me on the outside of a crowd, to “just breathe” and “not talk”.

Simplicity for me is not necessarily being less busy....
but
Simplicity is appreciating the small things in life.
Simplicity is in sharing fun moments with your family & children
Simplicity is freedom from material and emotional desires.
Simplicity is to simply “be.”
