Depending on the culture, there might be an open casket viewing the day before the funeral and the coffin will be placed in the deceased house or in the house of a near relative in charge of the funeral arrangements. A service might be held at the house and then the church and then they will proceed to the cemetery or the service will be held at the house and from there the funeral will go directly to the cemetery.
