Charlé Coetzer obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Free State in 2023 and completed her community service year at Connie Vorster Memorial District Hospital in Hartswater.
From a young age, Charlé has been passionate about working with children and developed a strong interest in paediatrics from the very start of her studies. She enjoys engaging with children of all ages and firmly believes that early intervention can make a significant difference in a child’s development.
She has developed a special interest in working with children who experience sensory processing difficulties and plans to complete her Sensory Integration and DIR Floortime training in the near future. She particularly enjoys working in school-based settings with children who present with developmental delays and has recently completed her OPTIMA School Readiness training. In addition, she has a strong passion for early childhood development and aims to pursue further training to optimally support children in reaching their full potential.
Charlé’s personal motto is to “follow your own pace,” a philosophy she carries into her therapeutic approach. She values each child’s individuality and believes that every child grows and learns in their own time and in their own way.
