Priority-Care Ambulance Service and LifeEMS responded on Saturday morning to reports of a motorbike accident at the intersection of Curie and Napoleon in Fichardpark, Bloemfontein

On arrival shortly after 09:00 crews quickly assessed the rider of the motorbike. Sadly the rider sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene. The scene was handed over to Parkweg SAPS for further investigation.

Priority-Care Ambulance Service and various other services including Mangaung Fire and Rescue was dispatched late Saturday night to reports of a head on collision on the N1 approximately 40km south of bloemfontein in the Tierpoort area.

Upon arrival shortly after 23:00 Priority-care paramedics found that the occupants of both vehicles have sustained fatal injuries after colliding head on. The 5 occupants from both vehicles was pronounced deceased on scene.
The exact cause of the accident is subject to police investigation.

Priority-Care Ambulance Service participated in a awareness campaign with Fichardtpark Neighbourhood Association on Friday morning in Fichardpark. FWA recently purchased new equipment that will be implemented in the upkeep of fichardpark and hospitalpark area.

Priority-Care Ambulance Service provided specialized event medical standby for 2026 Stronger Together Triathlon that was held at smithfield dam in Smithdiels on Saturday 24 January. Crews were present both on the water aswell as on the route.
