Animals instinctively guide a Reiki session. They will show you when you’ve found the right spot — and they will also let you know when they’ve had enough.

Look at how Rossie relaxes and gently closes his eyes the moment my hands become still in the right place. That softening, that surrender, is their way of communicating trust and alignment with the energy.

With animals, it’s never forced — it’s always guided.

Animals are incredibly intuitive. They communicate clearly — just not with words.

They will show you when you’ve found the right spot.
Their breathing softens.
Their body relaxes.
Their eyes gently close.

They will also let you know when they’ve had enough Reiki. They may move away, shift position, open their eyes, or simply get up. That’s their way of saying, “Thank you, that’s enough.”

With animals, Reiki is always about permission, presence, and listening.
