Hello my name is Molly Fabe and I have had Vitiligo since 1996. When I first noticed a small white patch in my neck I was not sure what it was. I visited a Dermatologist who confirmed that it is Vitiligo. I asked questions like is it contagious, is it a disease, and NO, it is not.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to handle that, so promptly went out and invested in scarves, so I never left home without wearing one. As time went by and more and more white patches appeared on my body, I realized that this condition is here to stay, and I now need to embrace it. The latest white patches appeared on my hands.

I felt the need to set up a WhatsApp group called “Proudly Vitiligo” to connect with people who also have Vitiligo.

I was invited to participate in a Fashion Show along with other people who had different conditions, as seen in this picture of me walking down the ramp.

I have created this page to create awareness of Vitiligo and for others to share their stories and create support.
